Hotel Escalade

We have been coming to this hotel for some time and I want to tell you that it is not what it once was. It's a 3-star hotel, not a 4-star one. First of all, the furniture is very worn. I ordered some pasta but they even forgot to put salt on it, not to mention I waited an hour for my order to come. At the pool, instead of relaxing, you are greeted by the screams of children, and the girl at the entrance counter did absolutely nothing after I explained the situation to her, that we cannot relax. The carpet in the room is very worn and smelly and the maid forgot to take the trash left by the previous customer. We had to call the receptionist to get the trash out of the bin.

Here's the text for you to copy: "A VERY UNPLEASANT experience! I tried to make a reservation at this location two weeks in advance, first by phone. I called the reception requesting a room with a double bed and a balcony... where I was told 'Oh no, we only have a few rooms like that... and I can't help you' all said in a condescending and disdainful tone! Thinking it was just a one-time thing and we all have bad days... I tried to do the same thing, online, on the website... where I was told that although there is availability, I cannot be guaranteed to receive such a room until check-in... I tried to understand the rationale behind the decisions of this hotel by sending the following email: 'If I make a firm reservation, can you provide a proforma and I pay, so you can reserve the specific room?! I don't understand! I haven't encountered this situation before... check availability and reserve the room, it's very simple!... I see that I still insist on being your guest :))) and... I don't know what to believe! Please tell me if you can help me with my request or if I should go to another location, thank you!' No one bothered to respond to this email! We're talking about a 4-star hotel in Poiana Brasov...." PS: What should I believe? If I give you a good tip, maybe you will give me the requested room?

Food very expensive compared to quality and size. The cook is mediocre at least. The staff is rude and impolite. Did not enjoyed my stay and I'm leaving with a bitter taste from this experience. Never again
