Dragging your heavy suitcase through the crushed stone path isn't easy, especially not at night as there's no lighting outside. But the cabin was gorgeous, spacious and well-equipped. Bring mozzie repellent as they're hungry and out in big numbers.

If we had not had a French speaking bird guide, we would have struggled here. And, the rooms are extremely basic ... a bit too rustic to feel relaxed and comfortable. There is a restaurant right there on-site but the "chef" or the "husband of the chef" is the rudest person we have ever encountered in all our travels over 30+ years. The restaurant is not actually part of the motel property but because it is right there, it is more than just convenient. We did not experience the food, however, because this extremely rude French man started exchanging rude banter with our guide, whom we had asked to join us for dinner, because we had a reservation for two already and he did not know she would be joining us. And, BTW, we were the only people showing up for dinner and the restaurant wasn't even open until 20 minutes after we arrived ... making his nasty comments even more unreasonable. We left. There is a perfectly wonderful Sheraton property down the road, so we went to dinner there. We should have also stayed there for the night. It would have been so, so much better all the way around.

Hotel de Poe is a solid option for families looking for something that is between the campsite and the Sheraton in price. The good thing about Hotel de Poe is that you can self cater with a proper kitchen and a decent area of space by each bungalow, which has two rooms. The night we were there it was a bit noisy with people staying up and drinking but they quieted down by midnight. The hotel is a bit tired and is back from the beach (no pool) but is generally reasonable for the price, and you can't beat Poe for a weekend away.

An absolutely fabulous 60th birthday meal with my family. Food was great, terrific choice and everything was beautifully cooked. Service was equally good - as were the rum cocktails. Very, highly recommended!!

Nous arrivons sur les lieux à 15h30 pour une entrée à 16H donc nous attendons 16H pour se présenter. 16H pile on se présente devant le bureau d'accueil mais surprise un message disant qu'il faut patienter. 16h20 toujours personne alors nous appelons le numéro sur la porte et on nous dit que la personne arrive dans 10min . De 16H à 16H30 aucun personnel sur les lieux mais les clients afflux devant le bureau d'accueil. Le personnel arrive à 16h30 et passe devant tout les clients mais aucun bonjour ou désolé. Le personnel déverrouille les portes mais aucun mot de leur part. Même pas un " Bonjour Messieurs Dames" ou encore un " vous pouvez entrer". On se retrouve à 15 clients devant le bureau a se regardé et se dire " est ce qu'on peut rentrer ect" Nous rentrons dans le bureau et a notre tour de passer nous demandant au personnel si le bungalow est équipé pour personnes handicapées ! Le personnel hausse la tête sans nous répondre alors on prend les clés et on part vers notre bungalow. Arrivé sur place, Surprise , les rideaux sans sale, les verres aussi. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir de la pluie donc nous avons eu des douches naturel qui se sont créé grâce au trou dans les gouttières. La porte de la salle de bain à une poignée qui ne sert strictement à rien vue que pour ouvrir ou fermer la salle de bain il faut la verrouillé. Je tiens à stipulé que je vais à la mutuelle depuis que je toute petite car C'était notre spot de vacances tout les ans . Décevant, le tourisme ne risque pas de reprendre avec des accueils pareil

hôtel composé de plusieurs bungalows individuels permettant du cuisiner , de manger et résider comme à la maison. chaque bungalow est de construction récente et très bien équipé situé dans un emplacement calme et proche de la plage parking privé permettant de garer sa voiture à l'entrée

A fuir. Séjour horrible ! Espace très mal entretenu et sale : portes des toilettes gondolées et impossibles à fermer ; odeur d’égouts et remontées dans tout le logement ; télé cassée ; etc. Pas de contact en cas de souci à partir de 18h et ce jusqu’à 8h. Honteux tout simplement

Hôtel bien situé mais qui donne une impression de fin de règne. Tout est un peu limite, "cheap". Dommage car les bungalows sont plutôt bien. En outre les terrasses sont superbes. Ainsi nous avons manqué de papier toilette... les douches sont mal fichues...bref, cet hôtel laisse sur sa faim.
