Stayed for one night on 25th May. We arrived late, around 9pm, after one of the bikes broke down near Würzburg. The two ladies on reception were welcoming and friendly. We had booked parking and this is inside the courtyard and is locked at night. It costs €6 a night. We got two bikes on there. Next to us some German bikers had 4. I am confused about the Ibis comment on a previous review. The room I had for €35 was far better. There is an Italian restaurant across the parking lot and we had a complimentary prosecco voucher when we checked in. Food there was good. The next morning the breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options and places to eat it.

El hotel en general está bien, pero necesita mucho mucho mimo, una buena dosis de mantenimiento y pequeñas chapucillas le darían otro aspecto. Desde luego, las fotos de Booking engañan bastante, nuestra habitación estaba bien, pero era muy sombría, apenas entraba luz del sol por la ventana principal, no obstante, el baño estaba separado por un pasillo donde había un ventanal por el que entraba luz al amanecer, pues la puerta de la habitación tiene un cristal que deja pasar toda esa luz de madrugada, suficiente para que te despierte, pero no lo bastante para iluminar la habitación a lo largo del día. El baño necesita con urgencia que arreglen la mampara, que no se sujetaba y permanecía abierta todo el rato, con lo que dejabas el suelo empapado al ducharte. La bañera tenía láminas sueltas, y la alcachofa estaba estropeada del todo, ni subía, ni bajaba, ni se enganchaba, tenías que estar sujetándola todo el rato, fue muy incomodo. El desayuno normal, se veía algo entorpecido por las constantes avispas. Tiene una zona con juguetes para niños donde se pueden entretener después de desayunar. No tiene ascensor. El check in/out es totalmente impersonal, se realiza a través de una app, lo que, dependiendo, puede ser bueno o malo, podríamos haber evitado pasar por recepción, lo hicimos por mero formalismo, pero fue un recibimiento seco y breve, sin mucha calidez. A grandes rasgos, nos sentimos bastante decepcionados con el hotel, sobre todo por el tema del mantenimiento, es una pena que lo dejen degradarse así.

Anreise: Sehr problemlos mit dem Auto - es sind direkt im Hof des Hotels (und im Hof des Nebengebäude) ausreichen Parkplätze vorhanden. Sofern die Schranke geschlossen ist - ggf. "klingeln" und dann wird man mit der Rezeption verbunden. Aufenthalt: Freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption. Da wir bereits "Online" eingecheckt hatten, lagen alle Daten vor. Die Dame an der REzeption hat uns dann noch die Beschreibung zum "Nebenhaus" gegeben. (tatsächich keine 2 Minuten zu Fuss). Zimmer (Appartement) ist wohl sehr neu renoviert. Alles sehr sauber - alles vorhanden und wirkte recht neuwertig. Zimmer-Schlüssel gibt es keine - es gibt nur einen "Tür-Code". Funktioniert aber ebenfalls problemlos. Manchmal besser als "nicht funktionierende Magnetkarten). Im Appartement: Sehr bequeme Betten - alles vorhanden was man braucht. Frühstück: Mehr - viel mehr - als wir erwartet hätten. Es gab "Hotel-Ketten" bei denen ich deutlich mehr für das Frühstück bezahlt habe - das deutlich weniger war. Vom Saft über Eier...Pancakes...Marmelade...Wurst...Müsli...) alles da. Und trinkbarer Cafe :) Und auch hier wieder: Außerordentlich freundlich! Zieht sich durch das Hotel: Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr hilfsbereit. Die Pizzaria, die direkt am Hotel angegliedert ist konnten wir nicht testen. Wir wurden recht ruppig darauf hingewiesen...das man hier nur mit Reservierung einen Tisch bekommt. Nachdem wir "etwas ratlos" vor der Tür standen, hat uns jemand aus dem Hotel einen Tipp gegeben: Pizzaria San Marino - nur ca 200 Meter weiter Top. Zurück zum Hotel: Kann ich persönlich sehr empfehlen. Jederzeit wieder!
