"It's a good hotel, nice attendances, location and clean.
But we weren't encouraged to pay £16 each for breakfast. It was very sparsely stocked, with no cheese or ham, few scrambled eggs, and the room wasn't clean, with food scraps on the floor.
However, we did have a great breakfast at the Stoke Village Cafe, which I recommend."
"Everything was great in the hotel. The room for three persons is equipped with a private bathroom and toilet. Towels, soap, kettle, dishes, tea, coffee - everything was in the room. The TV was in a convenient location for viewing from all beds. The location is very comfortable for visiting the old and modern city. The way to the sea took 5-7 minutes of slow walking. At breakfast we felt like a royal family, everything was delicious and satisfying. )) We will definitely return."
"Excellent location, just a few steps from the lamp. Light, spacious and very clean rooms. Breakfast with buffet, very good and abundant with a great choice. To be recommended."

"The Air conditioner was crap and the room was so hot. Even though they provided fan I could not use it because breeze from fan gives me catrrh. I was sweating all through. Love the hotel though but disappointed because of the AC problem."
"Great location, just a few minutes from the train station. Despite looking like an old building, the rooms were comfortable with good views from the window. It's basically in the town centre so you can walk to the nearby attractions. One negative was that they wanted to charge us for a late check-out."
"The building is old and has beautiful quirks. Bear in mind that due to the age of the building, you will hear a lot of floorboards creaking and noise from other rooms. My room had a bath and was very spacious. It was a shame no fridges, but the biggest problems for my stay was no WiFi as I was working for 4 days. The issue was 'managed' very badly by the manager and some reception staff. The problem started on day 1 and had a big impact on the enjoyment of my stay. I discussed it with the top manager on leaving and it was managed very well. I am just sad it wasn't resolved properly sooner and very disappointed with the staff. If you need WiFi I would check with the hotel in advance."
"A good hotel outside of the main city, close to Dartmoor and the hospital. Lots of local shops and a few fast food restaurants nearby if you need something. Overall a good stay, and will use again in the future."
"I was attending a conference at the University of Plymouth and the Crowne Plaza was a great choice. The breakfast was fantastic (photo is the view from the restaurant), the lobby bar is great too and there is also a Tesco Express at the end of the block. The pool and gym were clean and well stoked, too. Would recommend."

Amazing
GGuest UserThe couple at the hotel are courteous to their guests. The room is neat, clean and comfortable, and the sound insulation is good. Although it is thin, it is overall very good. The oil painting has a little bit of a Greek feel to it. The dining room where breakfast is served has some unique furnishings.
With such a price for breakfast, I think it is well worth staying. Full marks
Ddila faozyWe are a family of 6. Booked 2 rooms. We were amazed by the huge family room and the big toilet.
Cleanliness was excellent. The staff was friendly.
Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience.
Highly recommended.
Love from Singapore!
JJWL TengExcellent location to get around Plymouth - short walk to the Hoe and the barbican. The friendly staff will allow you to leave your luggage there for pick up later after check out. Check in wasn’t smooth though - no one at reception and had to call many times before someone finally picked up to help me with check in, which also took a while. Room was spacious enough with a little kitchenette. Short taxi ride away from Plymouth station. Just 5 minutes away from Theatre Royal - very safe and short walk away after the musical ended late at night.
MMCUZZAI recently stayed at the Travelodge Plymouth and had a generally positive experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. However, if you're a light sleeper, be aware that rooms on the first floor can be quite noisy due to music from the bars below. If possible, request a higher floor for a quieter stay. Overall, a good option for a short stay in Plymouth.
GGuest UserA great location right on the moors but easy access to main roads. I love this hotel…great staff, good food and very dog friendly. Looking forward to when I can come again
GGuest UserI had a good experience at Citadel House Hotel. The worker was really nice and flexible. The room and bathroom were clean and pretty. Location is really good too, near the port and the Hoe Park.
