Very friendly people, wonderful restaurant and the best breakfast ever. Everything is to recommend. It is situated 30-40 minutes from the sea and there is quite a lot of trafic so not ideal for walking but we managed. Bring good shoes for the walking. A pity the website says that the spa will be finished in 2022 when there is no spa, but we didn't have time for it anyway.

What a delightful experience in such a relaxing environment! This hotel restaurant and spa was recommended by our friend Yann Germain, himself a one-star Michelin at Sessenheim. We are so glad we followed his advice. We had dinner at Nicolas and Solene’s gourmet restaurant. Every dish was a pleasure for our senses. Chef Nicolas comes to each table and explains his dishes. His passion, creativity and excellence transpire in every detail. Solene and their staff are so attentive and so efficient. The next morning we had breakfast at their Comptoir: what an experience! I toured the buffet so many times. I was in heaven with all these fermented foods. Thank you for your leadership in this cuisine! Finally, don’t miss to stroll to the chef’s gardens and discover all their herbs, flowers and great vegetables that you will be enjoying in your dishes.

Magic landscape, inspired cooking (two restaurants), spa with a view, friendly and competent staff…and Japanese toilets in the room ! A very special place where they make you feel at home. NB: you have NEVER seen a breakfast like here.

This was the first hotel location for our trip to Bretagne (Aug-2022, Plouider & Carnac). Even though we 'only' had a standard room, it had everything we expected. We liked the cleanliness of the hotel, the very friendly staff, the Wifi, the view on the bay area (from room & breakfast area). The breakfast was according expectation for a four star hotel. Checking in and out went smoothly. We happily used the compact swimming pool and the superb lounge chairs in the spa area. The hotel offers a bistro (in the breakfast area) and a gastronomic restaurant (separate review on this). Both restaurants are used by visitors outside the hotel too, so be sure to reserve timely. Otherwise you have to find something else in an area that doesn't offer a lot of restaurants (here: middle of nowhere in the title). The bistro offers meals at reasonable prices and the quality is OK. The hotel also offers car charging facilities (2 ports) , which is not mentioned on the website. Unfortunately my charging token was not accepted.

We spent three nights at the hotel in June '23 and had a fantastic time. The bedrooms are reasonably nice, but it's the general atmosphere and food that made the stay so enjoyable. We ate in the more casual restaurant twice. Really great food (although the menu is a little restrictive if you plan on eating there multiple time) and friendly service. Breakfast was outstanding (the 'crepe chef' was wonderful!). The spa was lovely too, and never too busy. The one negative that I had was the price of drinks in the bar, which seemed unnecessarily high. Apart from that it was wonderful!

After we reserved the last room available on the phone and we agreed with the reception we would have arrived within a hour, as we arrived at 7.00 pm they told us our room was no more available and the hotel was full. at the beginning they even tried to say it was our fault cause we didn’t give the credit card num (which they never asked for) And they did not admit to have made a mistake selling the room on booking after our reservation. Just rude manners and denial of what we had agreed on the phone. Only after our complain they tried to find us another room in the area, which was completely full. In the end they found us a room in Brest (very low profile one, not same standard), so we had to drive back, while we were heading the opposite direction. Really bad and uncomfortable experience for us, never happened in a lifetime to go to a hotel and discover our room was sold. Completely unprofessional. Mistake can happen to anyone, better to admit it and apologize. And most important..clients shouldn’t be treated badly like that. Never again
