We recently hosted a retreat at The Bodhi Tree. All of the staff are incredible. It is obvious that they care very much about guests and the resort itself. We had a wonderful experience and we credit the Bodhi Tree staff with making that so. We will return.

The Bodhi Tree resort was a truly exceptional oasis of tranquility in which to relax and recharge. Their facilities are terrific, the cuisine is excellent and incredibly varied, and the staff is some of the best trained I have ever seen. They are attentive, and excellent at anticipating your needs. The resort is close to both the beach and the town of Nosara. A golf cart was ready to take us to and from the beach whenever we asked. I would return in a heartbeat.

Resort was amazing. The staff in every department went above and beyond to ensure the perfect stay. Food was healthy, local and soooo good. Rooms were comfortable and entire grounds from spa to pool to studio spaces were perfect. Although many people at the resort, the space felt unique, safe and special!

Our family of four spent the week of Christmas 2024 at Bodhi Tree. It's a quiet place, not a party zone, with a focus yoga & pilates. We've stayed at plenty of resorts before, but this one stands out as very well managed. The staff were always friendly and helpful, everything is super clean and well maintained. The restaurant, bar and coffee/smoothie bar were great. Most nights there was good live music during dinner. It's a 10 minute walk to the main drag & the beach, or you can catch a free shuttle. The hotel scheduled surf surf lessons and ATV tours for us. This is a fine place to stay.

I don't understand the hype of this place and all the 5 star reviews for the cost and what you actually get: tiny rooms without a good place to store clothing (the closet is in the bathroom which means all your clothes are damp and smelly, no luggage rack, only enough space for 1 person's clothing, etc.), room doesn't at all match what is online (the room we booked was supposed to have chairs in a nice garden space, we had a very small walled in area with zero chairs), and the pool / hang out areas are NOT big enough for the number of people staying at the resort (57+ rooms, but only about 20 beds at the only pool area, juice bar seating always full, etc.). Are the grounds beautiful? Yes. Are the yoga and workout spaces stunning? Yes. Are the yoga instructors great? Most but not all of them. Is everything overpriced both here and in Nosara in general? Yes. Overall save yourself some money, book a nice bungalow in town, spend the extra money you save on a golf car, and come here for yoga daily.

Everyone was so friendly! Best staff of any resort I have stayed at! The rooms were breathtaking! The food amazing! Great variety of onsite classes. Caring concierge who made sure I was safe on solo trips to the beach or town! Already planning my next trip!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and we wanted to stay in Nosara. The only hotel with any availability for the week we wanted (Christmas week) was Bodhi Tree Resort. What a nice surprise!! The property is stunningly beautiful. Excellent food, staff, accommodations, yoga activities. We are a short walk to the village and the beautiful beach. I looked around at other hotels that are closer to the beach, but none compared to Bodhi Tree Resort. My husband and teenagers didn’t do any yoga, and they still loved it here. I did quite a few yoga classes and Pilates, and also did beach activities and shopping. The other guests are friendly too! We will definitely come back.

This resort is amazing We had a queen bungalow with an outside shower which was so cool. The staff is amazing and friendly, the wildlife is incredible, the monkeys all around and of course the bar staff like Kevin and Adan made the best and most pretty drinks all while making us laugh! Great experience
