Sendero Hotel

Our family of 6 from Newport Beach, CA is having a wonderful experience at Sendero on our first (not last) time to Costa Rica. We have 3 rooms (adult children ages 18-26) with outdoor showers to the jungle that are amazing. This tasteful, beautifully designed open-air hotel has everything you need for a fantastic Nosara experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable with the softest sheets. We love the shower products and have plenty of bath towels. We love stepping out our rooms for morning coffee and cakes around the pool. The restaurant and bar area in the front of the hotel is by far the greatest in Playa Guiones. We can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails anytime of day. The music and vibe is truly spectacular and transport you into Costa Rica vacation mode. My husband and I spent the day visiting all neighboring hotels to compare. I have to say with 100% certainty that Sendero is special and truly has it all. We’ve experienced exceptional service all around. Our 4 kids walk out our rooms every morning to grab surfboards from Jose and hit the beach. Jose is wonderful and the entire surf staff. We’re loving our week at Sendero Hotel and will for return for sure! The bar staff is exceptional and the food is next level.

This is a perfectly nice hotel, but tbh i feel absolutely ripped off for the price when compared with all the other Costa Rica hotels we stayed at, often in much more remote place. Maybe we just got a bad deal but for 1150 dollars a night (room only) it should really have been something completely exceptional and it was sadly nothing at all like that. Nice but small room, cute service staff, but somewhat clueless. No ammenities to speak of. A third of this price would have felt worth It i think. So just be careful when you book!

We had a fantastic stay in this excellent hotel: great service, great food, very well designed hotel which creates an very nice atmosphere. All the employees were doing the utmost best to make our stay as pleasant as possible! Thanks everyone!

Everything was perfect; the staff is just amazing and the food one of the best in town. Went one night just for business and everything was set you that you could recharge batteries for the next day. Loved the little details, the daily cookies and fruit for the guests near the pool, the maps with the natural trails and the town's best restaurants.

Staying in the Sendero Hotel was the very best part of our Costa Rica vacation. The hotel grounds are incredibly beautiful and tastefully designed. The room was so clean and comfortable- with a quiet, private balcony with a view of the courtyard trees and salt water pool. Everything was perfect there, including the staff, who were so kind and very generous, and helpful. The restaurant food was the very best we had anywhere in Nosara , with many vegan options and the chef made changes to a few dishes to suit our needs. Thank you very much for having us and I highly recommend the Sendero Hotel looking for a phenomenal hotel experience.

Sendero was an amazing location to stay while in Nosara. Clean fresh aesthetic with natural tones and beautiful scenery around the pool. The staff were friendly delightful and helpful with all requests and questions. From telling me options for transportation to providing OFF when my natural bug repellent wasn’t up for the task. The tea station and fresher baked goods were a lovely touch. And the food at the restaurant was excellent to look at and enjoy. Fresh ingredients prepared with love.
