We LOVED our stay at this hotel! There was a warm welcome from the front desk team and the welcome drink is a lovely touch - especially after a long day traveling. The German chap on the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful - a real asset to the hotel. The location of the hotel is good - close to the beach and some bars & restaurants. The hotel decor is fabulous - very fresh, vibrant & modern. Rooms are almost perfect… only thing to change (and we know this is common in this country), is to replace the two singles with a double bed or find a way to attach the two beds together as it would be much nicer for couples. Love the enormous shower and the little kitchenette & private balcony - fantastic! Breakfast is awesome - even for me, as a vegan, there were options! I had a lovely granola and soy yoghurt every morning and pan con tomate which was so fresh. Freshly squeezed orange juice and even sparkling wine at breakfast - the perfect adult only hotel! Everyone staying there was respectful and not noisy. Shame that despite the hotel making a note to not do it, people did reserve sun beds but we still always found a spot either by the pool or the solarium. The pool bar offers great drink and food options - plenty of vegan choices there including a vegan Caesar salad which I loved and my partner loved the vegan tacos. Shame that the main restaurant didn’t have any vegan options on the menu or we’d have tried that but they did do incredible cocktails - highly recommend the Piña Colada. All in all, a WONDERFUL stay. We didn’t love Gran Canaria but ADORED this hotel and highly recommend.

My partner & I have visited Playa del Ingles many times but this was the first stay at Gold. The special touches provided by the management team made us feel special. The room booked, with terrace, was spotlessly clean & very contemporary. We couldn’t complain about a single thing at all. Gold is situated in a perfect location for us, 15 mins stroll to the beach which can be accessed by around 50ish steps, a little strenuous on the way back! It’s a 10 minute stroll to the Yumbo Centre, which is enough for us in our mid 60’s We will be booking again for a certainty. I put our stay as probably the best we’ve had in Playa!

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Very clean and modern with a retro vibe. Pool was superb - water very clean, clear and no sting on the eyes from chemicals. Staff all very friendly and hotel just the right size. Supermarket next door was very handy and had fresh bread every day. Would highly recommend staying here. Great location about 10 minute walk to beach and you can walk along beach for daily exercise where you will end up at the most amazing sand dunes.

Stayed for 10 nights in early June . Great location and fabulous hotel. Stayed on 4th floor ,view limited but room great. Hotel staff exceptional. Chefs in morning absolutely fantastic poached eggs to die for. Pool area classy and chilled out . Staff obviously love working at this hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel very soon.

We had the most amazing week at this hotel. It is spotlessly clean, beds are comfy, food is delicious! The staff are all super friendly, especially the manager. The sun loungers are comfy and the rooftop space is fabulous! A real gem of a hotel in Gran Canaria. Good location with plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. The reception staff always greeted us with a smile. One of the male cleaners was also super friendly. Welcome drink and bottle of wine in the room on arrival is a lovely touch! We would have maybe preferred a higher floor but we will remember to request that next time! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We have just got back from our second stay at Gold and have just booked to stay again next March (2026). The hotel is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the beach/dunes and bars, as well as the Yumbo centre and the Cita centre. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too, as well as a decent sized supermarket next door. The Adults only hotel is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The reception staff, actually all staff, are polite and helpful. The rooms have a decent sized shower, kitchenette and our particular room had two single beds pushed together. The food is plentiful and reasonably priced. There is free parking, we had hired a car from the airport but only used it to get to and from the airport as we’d forgotten how ideally located this hotel is.
