Firstly it’s a nice hotel with very friendly staff, but it needs a few tweaks to make it better, the entertainment is not great, some days we were playing in house bingo, ( not good for 2024 ) also if you go to the dining room later in the evening, there’s not enough staff replacing the trays of food, so you have to go and sit down, and wait for the trays to be brought out. Saying this I would still recommend the hotel,as good value for money.

just a very quick update on our recent(7th) visit to this wonderful hotel. From start to finish we could not fault it. As always staff are exceptional, thank you Brigit, Eli and the front desk team, always polite informative and heplful. All staff from waiters to bar staff and cleaners are polite and helpful. Food was of the same high standards as before, always plenty choice, and quickly replenished. We are booked to go again in September, and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to others.

Before I continue, this review is based on MY experience at the time we were there and some of the experiences I had may not be relevant all year round. Arrived on 11th Feb for a 7 night stay. 2 rooms booked for our party of 7 (Twin room & Family room). Check in was prompt and courteous and our rooms were on the 2nd floor only a short distance from each other. The family room was extremely spacious, however the twin room was tiny, with very limited room due to the third bed being placed at the end of the twin beds (There wasn't really anywhere else it could have gone). I would estimate this room was probably less than half the size of the family room and in my opinion is not adequate for a family of 3 people, certainly if the 3rd person is older than 10. Room facilities included wardrobe storage, flat screen TV, Fridge and Powerful twin head shower. There is an option to rent a safe for 2 EUR per night. No Tea/Coffee facilities in the rooms. One negative on the family room was the glass divide between the twin beds and pull out double bed. There was no privacy and certainly no option for Mum & Dad time.... The hotel whilst there was predominantly occupied by German guests, most of which were couples and in their older years. It felt at times that we were in an OAP home. The majority of the guests were well mannered however some in and around the restaurant were arrogant and outright rude and it felt like we were trespassing on their land. The food in general was fine, a wide dinner selection and always hot. There is not a fantastic selection for younger children, and the desserts on occasion were quite sp****. The biggest issue with the restaurant is that the tables are not geared up for bigger families. 95% of the tables were set out in 2's so trying to find at least 3 tables together was difficult. Of the very few bigger tables in the restaurant (seat 4), these were often used by couples which didn't help. Possibly a Front of House would help? All Inclusive drinks were very ordinary and what you'd expect in a 3* hotel. Weak beer, cheap wine and poorly made cocktails. The spirits in the main were branded, but limited to what you could choose. Soft drinks were fine. The pool area is small as per the hotel photos, that said getting sun loungers was never too much of a problem, and they do have a large grassed terrace (with park and football court) on the other side of the restaurant. The hotels position means the sun is only on the main pool until mid afternoon, and the aforementioned terrace until late afternoon. The entertainment was extremely modest, which may pick up as the season progresses? The entertainment seating area is far too small for the size of the hotel. There is a games room on level -2, however this could do with re-vamping as it's very tired looking. There is a spa/wellness centre and gym also available. The hotel is kept extremely clean, although there is a constant smell around the reception area which at times is a b

A great relaxing week in the sun. This hotel is well located to walk to beach and many local restaurants, bars and shops. However, we were all inclusive and didn’t need to eat out, or feel the need, as the drinks and food choices were very good. All buffet, but with meat and fish options cooked in front of you each night. Plenty of choice of cooked meals, meats, vegetarian, salads, soups, chips, pizza etc, Desserts abundant. Good variety of drinks available, served by hard working and friendly staff. Hotel was very clean and well organised. Reception staff very helpful. Room was spacious with good powerful shower (rain head and handled), large fridge, comfy bed, plenty of storage and large balcony. (No kettle). We had a room on the second floor facing East, so we enjoyed morning sunshine. I would recommend you think about your room choice, depending on how important a view is and when you want sun on your balcony. Higher room numbers have better views but no views are bad, We enjoyed use of the Spa ( rarely saw another user), which has a great pool with water jets. There is a jacuzzi in the Spa and on the top deck solarium, but not that warm so we didn’t stay in long, outside there are many sun beds by the pool and the garden area. We had no problem getting them at any time but I think the hotel was not full. There is a big hotel next to the Bull which can put the pool area in shade late afternoon, but this is probably less of a concern later in the year. Overall, better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed at. Probably only missing waiter services around the pools and no formal dining.

Lovely hotel in ideal location. Rooms good size and large balcony with 4 seats, a table and 2 drying racks. Large fridge with ice box in each room. If you like to make your own drinks take a travel kettle. Be aware the hotel has only got 3 rooms with baths and we didn't get one initially as requested despite booking 8 months in advance. We did get a room with a bath on day 2, but had to pay 30 euros extra. We wouldn't do this again as the shower screen is fixed making it difficult to access the bath. Also it took a good 30 min plus to get enough water in by which time it was cold. The hotel is exceptionally clean all over and the cleaning staff are brilliant. The food overall is good with plenty of choice, but very repetitive. Dining room can be a bit manic at times with people rushing in all directions. We bought drinks from supermarket to have in the evening with our meal. The Wellness Centre with spa, pool and flotation pool are good tending to be less busy in morning. Rooftop solarium is great as it's much quieter, but there are few sunbeds which get taken early by the same people . Only downside is the hotel is very popular with Germans, and the food is tailored to their tastes. When we were there there seemed to be few English guests and majority of guests were over 60. So if you're looking for a lively place to stay this is not for you.

Staying here at the moment, room 410. Check in on Tuesday was great, explained about the hotel and what was available and when. Room a good size, lovely balcony overlooking the pool, cleaned daily and good shower with plenty of hot water. Outside pool is heated, plenty of sunbeds if staying in or beach 10 minutes walk away. Rooftop solarium too with naturist area. The facilities at this hotel are just wonderful. Beautiful spa area with sauna, steam, jacuzzi, pool and an amazing dead sea pool, a wonderful experience. Food great and always hot which is a rare find on buffet style meals. Fresh meat and fish changes daily and cooked in front of you. Drinks great, never have I been to an all inclusive and been served premium spirits! Proper Bacardi, lovely. Games room downstairs with bowling, pool, snooker and darts, so plenty to keep you entertained. Staff are all lovely from reception, bar, waiting staff and housekeeping. Always a smile and a cheery hola. Without doubt this is the best hotel I have stayed in, in Playa. Worthy of a four star rating. Would definitely stay again and throughly recommend. Graham and Peter.
