Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya, by Hyatt

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Andaz Mayakoba Resort in Mexico for our babymoon back in December of 2022 (July 2023 is the earliest time I could select my review but we were there in winter time), and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable trips of our lives. So much so that not a single week has gone by where I haven't thought back to the trip with pure bliss. Here’s a glimpse into our extraordinary experience: Cucina Milagro: A Daily Delight We looked forward to dining at Cucina Milagro every day. The selection of breads, meats, drinks, Mexican food, breakfast options, juices, and international cuisine was fantastic. Our servers, Ahuatzin and Benito, were super friendly and hilarious, making each meal a delight. We eagerly anticipated our conversations with them, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. Perfect Weather and Pristine Grounds The weather was absolutely perfect during our stay—a steady 70 degrees with a light breeze all day long. The resort's grounds are meticulously maintained, featuring a stunning array of exotic and colorful flowers that create a picturesque backdrop for relaxation. Friendly and Helpful Staff The golf cart drivers were always available and extremely friendly. Practicing and speaking Spanish with them was a fun and enriching experience. Additionally, the poolside and beachside attendants were exceptional, bringing us buckets of water and beer whenever we wanted. William, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience and memories of Mexico. His reassuring "Todos Bien" became a comforting and cherished phrase. Unforgettable Memories One of the highlights of our trip was the peaceful and serene moments of the wind running through the palm leaves. These memories are my happy place that I return to at least once a week. I often daydream about our trip and mentally escape back to Andaz Mayakoba even 1.5 years later. This trip was especially meaningful as it was our last adventure before becoming parents, making it an unforgettable babymoon. Plenty to Do and Explore The resort offers more than enough activities to keep you entertained beyond the beach and pool. We enjoyed a river sightseeing boat tour, a day trip to a nearby village with a tortilla-making class, and exploring the many fantastic restaurants and shops. I enjoyed working out in the gym daily and the spa experience was top-notch! There is truly something for everyone. Fantastic Views and Great Coffee The views inside the lobby are spectacular, and the coffee shop serves some of the best cold brew I’ve ever had. Francisco, who was passionate about coffee, made each visit to the coffee shop a delightful experience. In conclusion, the Andaz Mayakoba Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. Despite taking some time to leave this review (life has been busy since we became parents!), the memories of our stay are as vivid and joyous as ever. We highly recommend this resort to

The service provided during our wedding made our wedding experience unforgettable and stress free. Even with the rain, everything was taken care of promptly and brilliantly. The property itself is gorgeous, but the staff is what made the experience top notch.

Incredible Experience. Amazing facility with outstanding staff who makes you feel welcomed and attends to most of the needs. Mixture of beautiful beaches and landscape. Food and restaurants are wonderful. Easy access to bikes and adjacent properties for additional options.

Will be returning back! Phenomenal food and drinks. Was blown away that this was an all inclusive resort. The staff never missed a beat and the weather was more beautiful than we could have anticipated. Mayakoba is our new favorite place! Thank you, Andaz!

We had a wonderful time here the resort has two sections the lagoon section and the beach section it’s a 1 kilometer bike ride the room was big and spacious the beach is pristine and breakfast buffet has all you need and want for breakfast including western and Mexican food

Fantastic property. Great pool, great service, beautiful views. William was the best waiter and provided excellent customer service.

Book with caution. I was there for a meeting and had some serious issues that were "sort of" addressed. One night I was going to sleep and pulled back the comforter only to find blood splotches. Mind you, the bed was freshly made!!! When I advised the hotel, I was told...we'll take care of it. Had ants on the counter and they did come and spray. This was not a one off situation. Talked to multiple people in the group and they all had ants. Two days after the counter situation, they were in toliet area. The room is super dark and very poor lighting. Also, there is no where to set up your computer and work.
