The walking distance from main hotel to the beach is very far. The claim there is a shuttle but in an entire week I only connected with it on one occasion.
Otherwise, the hotel is very nice. Pools are lovely. Was able to get ocean side chairs before 7 a.m.

We had a very enjoyable week at the resort. The staff were all very helpful and we thought the food and drink options were endless! We were able to book 3 of the restaurants in the app. You just have to keep checking back with the app for availability.
The property is beautiful and its fun to have the animals around to see. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a great time in the hotel and I requested a private dinner at the hotel for my family and it turned out to be amazing.

Our room had a few problems and I didn’t feel respected after reporting it. Then I was promised a birthday cake and champagne for ALL the inconveniences, but I NEVER received them. I would call the office to report something else, only for NO ANSWER!

It was a good experience, not great but pretty solidly good. Rooms are not in the best of shape, squeaky stained doors and missing tiles etc...and only a single trash can? Minibar was restocked daily and housekeeping was good as well which is definitely a plus. Property itself was very well kept up, pools and beach were all clean and lawns well manicured, staff even cleaned up after the sloppy guests making drink messes and leaving cups all over the place. Speaking of drinks, even for the busy spring break week we visited there was rarely a wait to get drinks, and they will make them just as strong as you care to have them. Food was definitely not something you should expect much of, the buffets were a let down and even the 2 restaurants we were finally able to get reservations at (don't expect reservations for at least 2 days after arriving) were not great, never had 1/4" thick steaks before which are impossible to cook properly. What was great were the tacos by the pool, definitely worth finding it early and making it a daily lunch stop, the bar on the beach comes in a close second with some decent chili (and watery cheese sauce) for chili cheese nachos or fries. Staff through all of it was very helpful and accommodating, overall a solid value but don't expect to be blown away by anything in particular.

The resort itself is beautiful! We booked a junior swim up suite and it was perfect. The room was very clean and the views were gorgeous. There was a hole in our screen door that we were unaware of, so we locked our screen door to have some fresh air come in. My husband and I took a nap mid afternoon before getting ready for dinner and we woke up to an animal on our room. My husband thought it was funny but I did not. We called to have the door fixed, but no one came. The biggest reason I wouldn’t give this resort 5 stars is because of the food. The buffet is very bland and none of it had any flavor. To go to any restaurant, you had to have reservations, but every restaurant was fully booked except for one restaurant on one night we were there. Definitely a bummer. We were expecting better food at the restaurant than at the buffet and it just wasn’t good. The only food we did enjoy were the tacos served near the beach area mid day. Overall we had a great stay, but expected better food.

Vacation was great. The only issue we had was the rocks in the water really hurt. The people selling on the beach were not pushy and left you alone. The wildlife was great to see!

In general, the hotel is good. The price that you pay vs what you get is fair.
The food is okay, drinks are good.
Rooms are too old.
The service is not that good since waitress are not always there for you, they are not attentive at bringing you drinks neither cutlery.
The service from the receptionist at the check in was horrible.
The drivers for the hotel shuttles are super attentive.
Bellboys are rude, they just want money and looking for tip.
If you want to stay at this hotel, the best option is to stay at Platinum Yucatán Princess.

The property is quite large but is walkable. There were shuttles and stops throughout the property to pick you up and drop you off where needed if necessary. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was polite and helpful. We had kids club passes and visited the ice cream shop and the pirate-themed buffet. The food there was the best we had throughout the resort. The pools had plenty of seating and were a good size. We had an overall pleasant experience here.
