It is a normal hotel, very well located, it is more than anything for those who are going on trips or are passing through. More. Very clean, well located, breakfast is not worth hiring.
No one helps you with your luggage, nor do they have a cart to carry the suitcases.

How can lost your loyal guest? We come to this hotel more than 12 years ago every year with friends. Now first time the breakfast is uner any standard and not enough for an adult. A little fruit 8 dkg`s a little cereals and a small portion yogurt. If you want marmalade and bread you need to pray for bread because forget it to put on the table. May be say it’s COVID but last year also was pandemic but breakfast was great. It looks like after 12 years loyalty’s we need to looking other hotel. Thank you.

My wife and I come to Playa del Carmen every year but we are back after 2 years now and this time we didn't pick El Dorado like we always do. We thought it would have been a poorer experience since resorts give you everything you need at any moment and small hotels are often a less pleasant way of being. We had to rethink everything we used to believe. This place looks like a mexican home starting from the colors, yellow and blue and everything beautifully placed really gives you the mexican experience. It's not fancy, it's not 5 diamonds, it's definitely not luxury but it's clean, cozy, well kept and the staff is efficient and friendly. Plus staying at the very center of town helps a lot. A must for our next trips.

The hotel is fine. It’s not luxury but it is clean the beds are comfortable and the pool is nice. Even though on the Main Street it’s actually very quiet. It’s also very convenient for a lively popular restaurant across the road. I do not recommend the breakfast in this hotel. Curiously the hotel cannot provide ice and it doesn’t have a bar or freezer. To that end, if you’d like to have a chilled drink by the pool you need to walk down the street to purchase drinks etc and ice ( note ice is only available in 5 kg bags) and bring them back to the hotel. In addition I asked the hotel on my second stay to post 5 post cards and left more than ample to pay for. The staff were not able to direct me to a post office. Non of the 5 postcards have arrived in the UK 2.5 months later. I have called the hotel to chase. My advice. Go elsewhere. I’ve called the hotel to check what has happened. I await a response.

Hotel ist ruhig und günstig gelegen. Wenige Gehminuten von den Hauptstraßen der 5th & 10th Avenue und vom Strand entfernt. Zimmer sehr dunkel, mit Blick auf weiße Wand und auf Treppenhaus des Nachbarhauses. Kein Balkon. Kein Sonnenlicht. Toilettenspülung nur mit Kraft zu bedienen. Wir sind sonntags angekommen. Auf Anfrage wurde am Mittwoch (!) erstmals der Eimer mit dem benutzten Toilettenpapier geleert. Gläser im Frühstücksraum überwiegend an den Rändern beschädigt oder mit Sprüngen. Eine von 2 Liegen an der sogenannten Sonnenterrasse war unbenutzbar.

Me alojé en el Hotel Las Golondrinas durante una semana y media para unas vacaciones en Playa del Carmen con mi novia. Además de ser un hotel muy bonito con piscinas y áreas comunes muy cómodas, la habitación fue un lugar perfecto para relajarse con aire acondicionado después de un día largo bajo el sol mexicano. De igual forma, la atención del staff fue muy buena y se hicieron disponibles cada vez que necesitábamos algo. El servicio de limpieza fue muy detallista al dejar la habitación completamente limpia y en perfecto orden todos los días mientras nosotros salíamos. Si buscan un hotel que les permita vivir una experiencia cercana a la cultura local de Playa del Carmen con mucha comodidad y confort, este hotel sería mi recomendación. /// I stayed at Las Golondrinas Hotel for a week and a half vacation in Playa del Carmen for me and my girlfriend. Not only was this hotel beautiful with very comfortable pools and common areas, but the room was also the perfect place to relax with air conditioning after a long day under the Mexican sun. The staff was incredibly helpful and they made themselves available at any time we needed anything. The room service was also very good and detailed, leaving the room spotless and in perfect order every day while we were out in town. If you are looking for a hotel to have an experience tied with the local culture, with a lot of ease and comfort, this would definitely be my recommendation.

Servicio completo. Buena ubicación y habitaciones confortables. A tres cuadras de la quinta avenida y a una de plaza las perlas que es un pick up para las actividades. Ideal para quedarte si tenes pensado hacer muchas actividades. Buen WiFi

Muy limpio, aunque el hotel está en una avenida principal, no se filtran ruidos externos en la habitación. La reserva lo hice por medio de la página web donde por ahí recibí un 35% de descuento. Me encantó la decoración y las dos piscinas, volvería al hotel
