This place was okay, however, I felt like it was lacking in some areas. The location was ok, not far from 5th Avenue, but almost a mile from the autobús ADO. The room had the basic, it was a room with a king size bed and only 1 chair but plenty of room for another chair or a couch. The tv remote did not actually turn the tv on/off, it just worked to turn on their streaming service “totalplay” I never did learn to use it and all the channels were in Spanish and did not catch my attention. It was nice that they decorated my room for my bday and there was a bottle of wine (Don Simon- about $7usd price) since I booked a VIP Premium deal. We needed ice to ice a swollen knee and the hotel did not have ice. The room also did not have a hair dryer, we had to request one and pick up from the front desk. Same with the towels, they only have us 2 and we wanted a third to use for the ice we bought from 7-11. The breakfast hours are from 9-11am (I think that’s late) so we requested to pick up early. It consisted of toast with butter and syrup (not jelly), a cup of fruit (papaya and cantaloupe) that was kinda of mushy, and a small bottle of water. The breakfast was definitely disappointing. I requested a late check-out since my flight was at 7pm and was told it would be $40. I told them I would be leaving by 2:30pm and then was told $20-I felt that charge could’ve been excused for an Exp Gold member and since the construction from next door woke me up two days. I would not stay here again.
