I like weekend shows. The entertainment is very new to me, that is, going to the open-air club.

Food options at the buffet were limited and truly disgusting. On arrival to the resort we waited an hour to even be greeted/checked in. The food options were limited to the buffet and were terrible so we didn’t eat the first night. Tried ordering chocolate covered strawberries for VALENTINES DAY…SOLD OUT! Waited on average 10-30 min at any bar for a drink, most bartenders were less than impressionable. Resort was very clean and the scenery was beautiful.we told the staff members about our engagement while on the resort we didn’t get a congratulations or even a glass of champagne. Will never return and will never recommend to anyone!

We stayed at this resort for a wedding about 11 years ago, at the time I recall the service being great and the grounds looking clean and well kept. Unfortunately, we agreed that the resort has deteriorated in quality since then. The buffet food is mediocre, A La Carte restaurants are great food and excellent service. One huge disappoin**ent was the immense difficulty in trying to obtain a cappuccino or latte with a dairy alternative as I am lactose intolerant. Other resorts are very conscientious of this concern and provide accordingly.
I also found the pools to be quite dirty and the beach was always packed, unless you are a member of the Platinum Club, then you're treated very well and have every amenity at your fingertips.
Overall, we were unimpressed.

There were long lines for everything! It took a us an hour to check in and the lines for drinks and food were fairly long.

Location to beach.
Not hot water early mornings.
Was at pick up at 7:59 on Monday nite from 5th ave location and cabs had left. Took a private cab back and had to pay 20.00. We rushed our dinner to make the pick up, but they left early. No one there to talk to. When I explained to our lobby person and sitting for 30 minutes with him and he talking with someone on the the phone, they basically didn’t believe me and would not grant my request to refund the ride difference of $12.00. I was very upset over this and left saying this will impact my feelings about the resort and my reviews. It meant nothing to him. It was more about the bad experience than the money. I had a receipt for the cab ride and a time stamped phone from the pick up.

Loved the layout, was 1 min walk to the beach. the cleanliness of the resort was great. Buffet was it or miss, food was okay-ish. al la carte was good. Nightly entertainment was awesome.

Food and drinks were good (no shortages of fruit/veggies/meat or mint). The beach was windy as usual, pools were good. Rooms were clean.
But I'm extremely unhappy about the airport transfer situation, both on ******* and on the resort reception part.
I booked the package with ******* and nowhere did it mention that airport transfer was not included. After the booking, it did suggest a semi-private transfer, but I would be ok with a bus, so I didn't book anything.
When I arrived in Cancun, I found out that I had to take a taxi for USD120 for a 40-minute ride to the resort.
In the resort, since I at first couldn't find ******* reps, I asked at the reception if I could get an airport transfer other than a taxi. And the receptionist said no, there are no other options other than going to Playa del Carmen and getting a bus from there. Terrible knowledge of options available, just terrible.
I could finally locate ******* reps on another floor and I could happily book an airport transfer for USD30 (one way) from the resort to the airport.
