Best Hotels near Bicentenario Park, Playa Del Carmen

The hotel is in the large park of Kaman Beach. There are many luxury hotels around. There are many golf courses. The hotel is a holiday nature and there are many recreational items. Please don't compare with the city business hotel. The balcony has bird droppings and the room has spiders. Normal, because the hotel is covered by the jungle, there are many flora and fauna, the breakfast is good, dinner is better, there are many restaurants and pools, the beach and sea are medium!

Great location. Rooms are clean and big. Rooftop pool is great place to relax. There is a grocery store below hotel and it the best. Grocery store has hot food and tons of breads and pastries. Hotel is one street from 5th ave. Staff was friendly. Will be come back.

Stayed 3 nights. It is about 10-15 minutes by taxi from the city center. The reasonable price as of May 2019 is 200Bs. When you visit, 300Bs was taken, so please be careful if you have a suitcase. There are not so many restaurants, but the food offered seems to change daily. Dinner can be enjoyed at restaurants that require a bit formal reservation, buffet style restaurants, and teppanyaki restaurants that are limited to the day of the week. There was also a restaurant where you can eat snacks. We did not use room service, but it seemed to be so. All the dishes we ate in the hotel were delicious. During the GW period I visited, a large amount of algae was generated and I could not enter the sea, but the sand was white and very beautiful. I think there are two large pools, a children's pool, and a bath-like pool. Many of the staff are friendly and I think I was able to speak almost in English. The staff of the lobby travel agent was not that kind. Because there was bath in room and view was good, we were able to spend comfortably. It is hotel where we want to stay at again.

My friend gave me the famous Xcaret Water Park. The hotel prices on Christmas are ridiculously expensive, especially the hotels under Xcaret. So this time, apart from staying in this Xcaret Mexico (hereinafter referred to as X), the other one is not very popular with Chinese tourists. Many Iberostar Quetzal (hereinafter referred to as Q). The price of Hotel Q is less than half of that of Hotel X (of course, Hotel X includes tickets to the amusement park, whether it is worth it or not). In contrast, the waiters at Hotel X are all business-like, and they have to wait for a table when there are not many people at the buffet. It looks like a big place, but there are few tricks to eat and drink. I also made an appointment for a Xin Gao Japanese meal. Don't expect too much. My daughter ordered an appetizer of rice, and what was served was a bowl of white rice! I ordered sashimi without wasabi, the waiter said sorry, there is no wasabi today, I will soak ginger slices for you instead of wasabi Activity: It is very convenient to go to the park under Xcaret, every 20 minutes. We have been travelling through Mexico for 3 weeks and Hotel Encantada was the worst experience at all. The room was very noisy, the bus station is just across the street and the whole time we were listening to a machine announcing bus arrivals and departures. There was no balcony. The reception staff was absolutely useless, they were not able to help us, tourists, to arrange anything. Not even to advise where we can buy a bottle of water in the middle of night when we arrived. And the oxxo shop was just around the corner! On top of this all, after checking out in a hurry, I realized I forgot a shirt in our room and my friend forget her cosmetics. I immediately asked the receptionist to check and give it back to us. They asked the cleaning lady, she claimed to know nothing and find nothing. I believe I was pretty insistent and still, they did not return our stuff. So the cleaning lady or the reception staff either stole our things or threw ithem away and did not confess to either. I would NOT recommend to anyone to stay in this useless stealing place.

one of the best hotel I have stayed, you have everything like 12 restaurants to eat and the pools and the place to do kayak and be on the ocean pools ara amazing its a nice resort with everything you can dream, amazing views and the restaurant the mercado san juan its amazing for breakfast its food all around Mexico you need a week to see the whole hotel, plus you have acces to all the parks of Xcaret we try the xenses and Xcaret at night its nice, everything for all the family better than the disneys resorts I think its one of the top 10 best hotels in the world, it has something for all kind of taste, from privacy to a lot of places for socialize. I will comeback again for longer stay its worth it.

I’m not sure why the low review on this hotel. I actually slept better here as compared to the resort I’m at Grand Riviera Princess. I took my parents here for a night to shop at their popular 5th St (which is so freaking expensive- more expensive than the resort merchandise). I booked online and the system suggested the Master Suite since there’s 3 of us. To my surprise…. MASTER SUITE is literally 3 rooms!!!! I actually went downstairs to ask if they made a mistake. I only paid a total of $103!!!!! They gave us Room 210 - which includes 211 and 212!!!!? 210- 2 queen beds 211 - sofa bed with dining table (think of it like a living room) 212- 2 queen beds It was so clean and the bed sheets, pillows and blankets are all oh so comfortable. Since we only stayed for a night- I couldn’t comment on other amenities except it’s the best sleep I’ve ever had since landing in Mexico.

I don’t even know where to start. Residence Inn at Marriot Playa Del Carmen has to be on of my pleasant hotel experiences ever. Starting from the positive vibe you feel as soon as you enter the premises all the way to when you checkout, they make you feel like a truly valued guest. Staff Everyone keeps smiling at you and they always try their best to accommodate your requests. Willy(security) was always there to assist whenever we arrived at the hotel. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the area, so he could put you on the right track regardless of which destination you were trying to get to. Gabriela (front desk) was super pleasant to work with during our check-in, when we had to extend our stay and every others time we had to request assistance from her. She always had a smile on her face and truly made us feel welcome. Cleanness The hotel appears to be brand new, with modern amenities and great décor. They keep all the common areas squeaky clean. I had to work from my room, so oftentimes when Domingo and Paulina came by to clean the room, I was in the middle of a meeting, but they never gave up on me and kept coming back until they made sure my room was clean on daily basis. Amenities Considering it is a hotel, they have an amazing gym and rooftop pool. I was hesitant about working out there at first when I made a reservation, but after seeing the equipment, size and clean environment they have at the gym, I actually looked forward to working out in the mornings. Food They serve decent breakfast(included) in the mornings between 7 to 10 am. They also have a specious dining area, so you will never have an issue finding a table. Waiters are also amazing, they try everything they can to make sure you have a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will be back!
