Gran Oasis Resort

It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it. We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉. Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill. We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

The hotel and staff were amazing, the staff went above and beyond to help if they could the room was lush, the pool was such a nice chill out (when parents weren’t so irresponsible and let their kids use it as a toilet) had an amazing time out looking at Tenerife and the places it has to offer food was delicious

We’ve just left the Gran Oasis after a lovely family week away. 2 adults, one child (6) Rooms - we booked a one bed duplex, struggled having the camp bed on a different floor so opted to bring it downstairs so that our son stayed with us. Unfortunately the camp bed was so squeaky he ended up in our bed by night 3! Not a major issue and if it had bothered us more we’d have asked reception to replace the bed. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, two TVs spread across both floors with good selection of channels. We were lucky enough to get a Balinese bed outside the lower floor and a dining set on the upper balcony, couldn’t fault this whatsoever. All rooms were spacious and light. Well decorated too. Restaurant - we often struggle with a fussy eater but we made it work through the week. Us adults ate well and found many options at each sitting. For a fussy or difficult to cater for child you may struggle. Chips and nuggets were our saviour. The pool bar had quick and easy options during the day so we went there a couple of days to help with variety. Dessert selections were brilliant. Try the Gofie ice cream and the chocolate cake. Entertainment - whatever they pay Shelby they need to double it. By far one of the most attentive, enthusiastic, warm and friendly members of an animation team we have ever experienced. She took the time to memorise all the children’s names and was able to bring our son out of his shell better than anyone has before. Definitely in the right profession. Thanks for making it a brilliant week Shelby. Evening entertainment for adults was ok, not the best we’ve experienced but not the worst either. I think sometimes managing your own expectations helps. Lasting impression - All in all a great week, the majority of staff were incredibly friendly and warm. Really impressed with the staff overall. Clean and well equipped hotel. Great pools and a brilliant splash park for up to 10yr olds.

Loved every minute of our family holiday. Beautiful resort. Carlos + team made our holiday extra special. Little Fiji will be back next year. Thank you for creating special memories with us. So me and my friend have stayed here for the past 2 years and we cannot fault the hotel at all! The food is lovely! The drinks are nice! The rooms are always kept clean! The hotel is amazing aswell as the staff! We will defiantly be coming back! The entertainment team are amazing and always get people up and involved within the day and the night! This is a hotel I would definitely recommend people to stay at!

Wow! Just home from this hotel and it was amazing. Hotel Stunning and clean. Duplex style apartments and had everything you need. Pools were fab and cleaned every evening aswell as staff going around during the day cleaning. Food was fantastic, different themes every night plus a snack bar for drinks and food like chips, nuggets, crisps, hot dogs and desserts. All inclusive is a must, unlimited foods and drinks and a wide selection included. Staff Every single one was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Couldn't do enough for you. The kids clubs were a big hit with my 2 and 7 year old. They particularly loved Shelby who was amazing with them. All the girls and Carlos were fab. Entertainment Brilliant every night. Kids disco from 8-930pm then shows after. Foam parties (every Wednesday) aqua aerobics and water polo to name a few that was on daily. Once a week the hotel run a big night, I was there for 10 days so got to experience the white party and summer ball. The children and adults loved them. Honestly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's about a 20 min walk to the main ***** but we only left the hotel one evening to see it but definitely no need to leave the hotel. Taxi only about 8 euro down. Free shuttle to siam park and beach. Oo and no crazy dash for sun loungers either. Plenty to go around. Hotel also has a supermarket on site which sells everything you might need. Just returned from a fantastic 10 days away to this hotel with my husband and 2 children 15 & 17. The staff were amazing so friendly . The entertainment team especially Shelby and Ellie, were out of this world they kept everyone entertained all day with various activities through the day and the evening. The foam party and bbq days were the kids favourite. Rooms were so clean and comfortable. The food choice was huge, a themed night every night tasted delicious but always had the basics for pickier eaters aswell. This was our favourite holiday yet and will definitely return.

We've not long returned after a week all-inclusive as a family of 3. The hotel is lovely. The rooms are perfect and well maintained/ cleaned every day. I emailed ahead of our stay to upgrade our room, and the hotel responded quickly. Although a little bit out of the way, taxis are easy to come by and cost approx €6-8. Breakfast was lovely, I keep dreaming of those pastries . Evening food can be hit or miss, but no one should go hungry. Sunbeds are busy, and the only day we struggled to get one was on the foam party day (which is great for the kids). Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Booked via Jet2 as a package holiday, I was worried because my son has ADHD. The staff were great they were so accommodating and allowed us all to have a great holiday. The food was delicious especially the Spanish food, I would have liked to have seen more of that. The entertainment every night was different and high quality. I had a spa treatment which was also top quality. The rooms are to a high standard and fully air conditioned. Thank you Gran Oasis for a fabulous holiday.
