Had a fabulous week in the hotel. Excellant from arrival to departure. Hotel staff so friendly and helpful shout out to Josepho served us our lunch at the pool bar so friendly. The food fabulous and great selection. Hotel entertainment every day at the pool and night time enjoyable. I cannot say a bad thing about this hotel. I will definetely be back soon. This is a lovely hotel - a top 4 star in every way. We (my wife and I) stayed a week in early May 2024. We had a great time. We have stayed many times before in Tenerife staying at different hotels. Our welcome to the hotel - great start to a lovely stay! Friendly, smiling reception staff. Small bubbly to start the holiday at reception and provided all the essential details. Reception is bright, airy, air conditioned and has a nice perfumed smell. Lots of kissing behind reception! (Scenes from black and white movies!) Pushing the Lovers and Friends theme of the hotel. You really get the feeling you’re not checking into a standard hotel. Something different awaits you! We paid for use of the safe - 2.50 euros per night and paid the 40 euros (2 x towels) deposit (refundable on check out). Reception staff are quick and efficient. Our room - We had booked a Deluxe Pool View room and had emailed requesting a high, sunny floor. We got it, Room 544 which is on the top floor of this hotel and overlooks the hotel from a central position providing great views from its spacious balcony. The balcony has two red chairs and a table. New and comfy. All the pool facing rooms have good views. The hotel is a U shape. In May, the rooms to the left of the hotel have shade in the morning (including us) and have sun in the afternoon only. It won’t matter in the summer months as it will be so hot so if you would like sun first thing, its worth asking for a morning sun room. The room itself is very comfortable, good air conditioning, large, comfortable double bed, equipped with comfy pillows, plenty wardrobe space with plenty hangers, extra pillows and blanket if required, two comfortable chairs, mini fridge, electric kettle and cups and spoons provided, side cabinets, and a large circular mirror. We also appreciated the newly upgraded bathroom which consisted of walk in power shower which also included a rain shower and the usual amenities with a modern powerful hairdryer. Nice to see there were different dispensers for soap, shower gel and shampoo. I’ve been to hotels in Tenerife (well known brands but I’m not going to mention their name - but think Benidorm) where they gave us the same so called wash for hand soap, shower gel and shampoo! Lol. Not here though at Tigotan. No complaints here. Hint: From the top floor rooms near 544, you are under Cafe Del Mar and can enjoy their music! Its not loud to disturb you but nice to hear from the balcony. Big mention to the cleaning ladies who looked after our room - the room was immaculate every day when we got back after a busy day out. So appreciated. Food - Excellent. Lots of varied choice - I don’t know why some people complain. My wife and I appreciated the live cooking, friendly chefs and staff. The plates were always hot. We never made it to Breakfast but had the evening meal a few times. Hot food was fresh and replaced quickly. There was an excellent choice of salads, cheeses

We are half way through 5 days here and already planning a return later in the year. Staff are pleasant entertainment is great and the animation team work hard to ensure you have amazing time. The food is really good plenty of choice and the drinks are reasonable priced. Housekeeping do an amazing job place is spotless. This is our first visit to this resort won’t be our last it’s welcoming and not to expensive. We upgraded to pool view definitely worth the money. Great little fridge bring your own tea and coffee. Loved the walk in shower just don’t put it in full power or risk flooding the bathroom 😂

We have visited this hotel twice now, the hotel and rooms are clean & spacious. The buffet is a little repetitive but I think most hotels are like this. The themed nights for food are always fun & we love the foam parties in the day by the pool! And the activities which are on offer are great fun!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Spotlessly clean , excellent choice of food and very friendly helpful staff. Rooms are cleaned every day. Can’t fault this hotel at all. Entertainment on most nights and pool games during the day. Love it. Close to some great bars and supermarkets

Just came back from holiday at Tigotan hotel. I cannot fault the hotel at all. On arrival was greeted with a glass of champagne. Sat down and was explained everything. He also changed our room to one with more sun which was perfect. Our room was ready even though we had arrived before 3pm. We booked a romance room and exclusive upgrade. Definitely worth it as a couple. This also includes use of the safe. The room was cleaned every day. The beds were massive and extremely comfy. You could connect your phone to the sound system, as well as a hdmi port. Mood lighting was a lovely touch! Must admit the tele wasn't the best but who goes on holiday to watch tele!? It seemed a problem across the board as we did hear someone complaining about it(yawn) The whirlpool bath was perfect touch, one thing I would say maybe the hotel to leave some instruction for the whirlpool bath as it took us awhile to figure out how to work it. As for the reviews with complaints about sunbeds, it's ridiculous don't listen to them. We did not struggle any day to get a sunbed. Don't get me wrong there was sunbeds reserved early and some left all day but it's an issue that most hotels have. Even at 3pm we managed to get a sunbed no problem! The rooftop pool was lovely! Nice little area and jacuzzi. The food was good. There wasn't alot of choice and I did feel it didn't change much day to day but I don't expect much when it's half board. The exclusive use is great I feel like it's worth it if you are willing to get up and sit in a separate area to have a drink. But I like sunbathing so I felt we didn't use this as much as we could. Although understandable why the hotel have these rules. With the exclusive you get a 3 course meal in the hotel restaurant, Santa Rosa, the food was lovely, not pulled from the buffet. Cooked fresh. We had the fillet steak and it was huge and delicious. Definitely recommend sticking around for the Friday foam party. Was such a good atmosphere and so fun. The evening entertainment was good. Always something going on. Either near the pool or inside reception. Location was great. Come out the hotel and turn left couple of nice bars and about a 10 minute walk from the *****. Turn right and follow it down towards the beach and you come to a nice district with lovely restaurants( definitely recommend Biancos, such great food) and shopping centre. And if you follow it down to the beach, you will circle back round to the *****. All in all we had no issues with the hotel what so ever. Just one thing I would say maybe the hotel to leave some instruction for the whirlpool bath as it took us awhile to figure out how to work it. Thank you for an amazing stay !

Great hotel and good location. Went half board and food was pretty good and plentiful. Very clean room overlook the pool on 4th floor. The Cafe del Mar is a great option for lunch and evening drinks. Never had an issue with sunbeds at all. Would recommend this place without a doubt.

I stayed at this hotel which was advertised as 4* and stayed from 2nd march till 9th march 2024 . on first day they had one 2lt bottle of still water and a bottle of sparkling wine and that was the only two items received from the management for the whole period. There was no tea or coffee , milk or light snack. complimentary which we expect in a 1* in UK. l booked 3 days from 2/3 /2024 to 4/3/2024 paid Euro 590.14 I was flying back to UK on 10/3/2024 and the customer experience staff booked that i was checking out on 9/3/2024. she extended 4 days from 5/3/2024 to 9/3/2024 and i paid Euro 960.45 on 9th morning i visited the same customer experience staff and i told her its my last day today and i am flying to UK next day . can she suggest best beach where i can visit and a golf course. She kindly printed bus timetable Fanabe Plaza which i still have and also she wrote down LOS PALOS GOLF on one of their card and i have the original. We both were celebrating my last day in Tenerife . The drama started when i returned back around 1pm on th 9th. As l walked into the hotel and being the only Asian or any person of colour in the hotel since i had arrived on 2/3/2024. l always had a laugh with customer services person and other staff in the hotel. But unfortunately no one acknowledged my joy of visiting the best beach Fanabe Plaza in Tenerife. A strange atmosphere and l was tired as been out since 8am. l needed a shower and freshen so i went to my room 533. l was shocked l was locked out of my room. l just could not understand what happened to my card. l was tired and went downstairs to the customer experience person and asked why l was locked out of my room? The same person i spoke to in the morning became a monster! She said the hotel is full and i should have checked at 11 am !!!!!! l reminded her of our mornings conversation and she gave me print out of bus timetable to Fanabe Plaza and wrote down LOS PALOS GOLF on one of their card. She was not interested in what i was saying. She told me again the hotel is full and i have to find another hotel. She said if l wanted some details of other hotels she may give me. l am a 68 year old senior citizen and travelling solo and venerable and being only Asian in public begging to stay in the hotel. She was rude and told me there is nothing she can do l have to go to another hotel as it is full. l demanded speaking to her manager as this is unacceptable situation ! She pointed to a skinny chap who was listening to our conversation. He came over and said whats the problem? I explained the whole situation and he insisted that the hotel is full and i had to go somewhere else . He told me that he phoned me at 11am at check out time and since i did not answer he has taken payment of over Euro 200 from card saved on their system. l was in tears in full view of public and i felt he was enjoying this bullying. l was thinking what did they do with my passport and other items of value in the

Stayed a night here on a lay over arranged by our airline as we couldn’t land in Madeira because of the weather conditions there and we were diverted to Tenerife. Although the room that we were given was pretty basic, we were really impressed by the hotel overall. The pool area was lovely, as was the cafe on the roof terrace with its amazing views at sunset. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was excellent. They organised an early breakfast for everyone before our onward journey the next day. I can’t comment on the surrounding area, as we didn’t have time to venture out. Thank you for making a long, difficult day, more bearable!
