Very nice Hotel

Worst experience I ever had. Really dirty room. Bugs in bed and the towels smelled rotten. We even found dandruff like stuff on the towels. At the breakfast room they demonstrated being busy and in hurry to close of at 10 sharp even when 4 ppl at the table and no one but two sitting by the pool waiting for the bar to open. I guess my room was an exception since the rate here is quite outstanding. So I can’t say it’s the standard all over the hotel .

Me and my friend went on a four day trip to Tenerife and stayed at this hotel, had a lovely stay found it clean and staff were helpful. The room was nice and spacious with a big balcony but the one problem we found was that the air conditioning didn’t work that well. Think it was very good for the money. There was food and drinks at a reasonable price from the bar.

Luckily, we were not staying here long and booked for one night due to complications with another hotel, and we needed somewhere to stay just for one night and then we were going to the airport. Although my experience here was short and I didn’t use all facilities, I have never seen a dirtier smellier hotel. To walk in there is what I can only describe as a lucky lucky man selling pure tat on a table as you walk in, just when you think you can avoid it on the streets it’s now in your hotel. Receptionist area is old and run down. If you’ve ever seen the TV show benidorm, the hotel gave that sort of vibe old, outdated awful colour scheme etc. We get the room key and head upstairs, lift is dodgy and barely works properly for starters. We got to our floor and there was a long corridor facing a main road all open so there was nothing dividing the hotel room door to the main road and outside apart from a small walk way. Opened the door to the room and the smell nearly knocked me out. The over barring smell of chemicals and sick, like someone had done there best to disguise the smell and just thrown a load of bleach in. The sofabed was all broken with blood stains on, the bedding was simply a paper thin sheet, the safe was like something from 100 years ago. The balcony was VILE there was yellow/orange stringey spit like someone had been spitting over the balcony. A mop and cleaning products in the corner that a cleaner had clearly forgotten to take. Bars on the bedroom window made me feel like I was in a literal prison, I’m sure prison would probably smell nicer actually. No plug sockets in room apart from one next to mirror, not much good. One positive, bathroom was actually okay and clean. We accepted the room was grim and thought oh well we are only here for a good night sleep and then we can go to the airport. I might aswell have slept on a formula 1 track, or put a sleeping blanket on the motorway. Not even my airpods on full blast could cover the noise of outside, it kept making me jump because the cars felt so close. The sound of the road meant i was going to get no sleep, but no point in moving cos every room backed onto the same busy road. As i’m trying to sleep I can hear everything and i mean EVERYTHING from the room next door, walls are paper thin. People must have been getting ready to go out but there was glass being smashed outside our room, people banging and shouting, banging on doors. Arguments could be heard very loud and a constant doorbell noise. This was so loud it felt like it was in the living room. I barricaded the door with chairs because I have never felt so unsafe. I mean someone could kick the front door and it would open, it was hardly a proper door. I laid listening to every thing you could imagine, and I said right let’s go i’d rather sleep on airport floor. It was that bad. Before I knew it, it was time to go to the airport at 3am and I’d not slept once due to noise and fear of what was going on outside. If you ar

This is NOT what I would call a family friendly hotel. There are groups of males and females coming here and they are mostly noisy. We were fortunate as there were less groups due to it being the more expensive half term week. One group of ‘ladies’ were really drunk around and in the pool and being really loud and inappropriate, considering there were young children around. This hotel would be a good place to stay if it were not for the noisy groups. The good points are the chap behind the bar is lovely and friendly and the food is really good. The club sandwich is huge! The cleaners are the best I’ve come across in a while and they clean and change towels every day. There were no sunbed wars as the pool is closed until 10am, and there were always spare ones, even during a half term stay. They are strict about closing the pool at 6pm though. The location is great with a huge supermarket 5 mins away and lots of nearby restaurants. The Mexican restaurant just down the road to the left is excellent. The ***** is a 10 minute walk away down some steep steps/hill, whichever one you choose. The chap on reception is a tad grumpy, and we arrived at gone 11 at night and we asked if anywhere was open to buy milk, water and of course wine!! He just huffed and pointed to the vending machine in the reception. We did find a 24 mini market going to your right out of the hotel. Overall I would not stay here again due to the large groups that the new owners allow, and Jet 2 have finally changed the wording, by NOT calling it a ‘family friendly hotel’, because it absolutely is not!

These apartments are well placed location wise, accommodation has everything you need for self catering with supermarkets close. Staff are Brill. BUT...there is a big BUT.... is it a family hotel or groups? More and more groups arrived, very loud on a night and approx 4am. Pool can get rowdy and I had to ask reception to ask a group to stop swearing as families about. Wouldn't come again because it's no longer a family hotel as advertised by Jet2. At one point we witnessed a lad climbing balconies on the top floor. Jet2 rep tried to be helpful but this is out of her hands and she shouldn't have to deal with all of the families concerns over noise and groups.

The hotel itself was basic but clean. Nice pool. You do have to pay an extra deposit and the WiFi is not free, its quite expensive actually. A lot of the other guests were really noisy late at night, lots of drunk loud behaviour- doors very thin, woke us up every evening.

I was here with my dad and my three year old daughter and I will not be returning We stayed here last year with other family members and we had an excellent time when it was named under morola since it has been taken over by whala its has changed too much. If you want peace and quite I would avoid at every chance possible it was such a family orientated apartments when we here it’s not anymore They are now catering for the younger generation group of girls and lads noisy at night ten clock at night coming in at stupid clock at the morning and making loads noise. I have not had one proper nights sleep since I have been here Around the pool area well that has all changed since they changed hands they was no drinks allowed round the pool at all last year and this year they all drinking around the pool leaving their cups on the side of the pool I have witnessed on a few occasions whilst being here that they are drinking in the pool the amount of foul language that has been used is awful. They clearly state this aswell that glasses are not allowed on the pool side but they don’t care at all The fact that jet2 advertise this place as family friendly on thier site it is no where near family friendly

Tommy and the girls behind bar are great fun as usual and friendly so 5 star for them but 0 stars for nighttime management who just let drunken or stoned teenagers make an absolute racket from 4am everyday. Its not relaxing for sleep at night or early hours anymore. If this is what the new owners want thats up to them but it should be stated so then as the vast majority are doing we can book elsewhere. Shame because it was brilliant here, but not now
