I loved this hotel. Me and my boyfriend decided to go on a short holiday in half term and chose this hotel as it was relatively cheap whilst also being quite central in playa las americas. When we arrived the hotel is very clean. We got to our room and we had been given a double family room for the 2 of us. i didn’t book this so this was a nice surprise as we had a double balcony which looked over the sea and we could see the sunset. The bathroom was lovely and the rooms were very clean with huge beds, cleaned every day to a perfect standard. In the morning we had a buffet breakfast which was extensive and filled us up, the dinner buffet was also really nice and changed every night with fresh food also being made in front of you. The pool side had lots of chairs and we never struggled to get a seat, the pool was nice and a nice temperature. There was a bar near the pool with crisps and drinks and on the last day there was a pool party with music and rubber dingies which we both loved as it was some entertainment. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the beach and the main bars and we managed to walk to many different areas with no problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel can’t fault it

It's been 15 years since my last trip to Tenerife and the comments below are based on international five star hotel experiences around the globe. So here's what I experienced on this reservation:- Positives 1.Check in / out process fast and professional. 2.Direct beach access via the pool area. 3.Breakfast buffet with internal and external seating choices was excellent. 4.Evening entertainment between 21:00 and 23:00 Hrs was good. Negatives 1. Allocated R3101 upon arrival and entered to find the bath tub was extremely dirty and required solvent cleaning to remove large accumulation of water scale dirt around plug area (Approx 200mm in dia). Root cause of this problem is a leakage from the shower hose connection which remains to be fixed. 2. TV was on and could not be turned off. This was rectified by Maintenace changing the batteries within the remote control. 3. Sink plunger mechanism was broken and I was shown how to remove the plug on a daily basis once housekeeping cleaned the room. 4. Locking mechanism on the balcony sliding door is broken and extremely hard to open / closed. 5. Only one, yes one pool towel provided / guest at the pool via a plastic card that you are required to exchange at the pool towel bar. If you forget this card it's a return trip to the room. General Travel Tips. 1. Taxi from TFS Airport to hotel cost 25 Euro each way. 2. Hard Rock Cafe located next door (£££). 3. Great Italian, Thai, Japanese and British restaurants located on the second floor off the shopping complex across the road from the hotel (££££)

Well done Las Palmeras, thank you for a wonderful holiday, the restaurants offered a wonderful choice, do try the Italian and Japanese they are great. The hotel and outside areas was spotlessly clean, well maintained and well organised. The staff from the top to the bottom was always polite, helpful and often went over and above the call of duty to be of help. Damion and his reception staff became like ”old friends” after a couple of days. Thank you to all at Las Palmeras, take care of each other and hope to see you next year.

I was sceptical about my stay here due to the amount of mixed reviews but i couldn't really fault the hotel. It seems as though most reviews are from All Inclusive customers so maybe this is not recommended? We were bed & breakfast only. Starting with check in, we arrived around 2/3am due to a flight delay. The receptionist was not rude, he was extremely helpful. The hotel is in the middle of no where so we asked where the nearest shop was and he explained and marked it on a map for us to follow. Its a BP garage and its about a 15 minute walk and is 24 hours. We were in room 2089 with a pool view, room was very spacious. Bathroom, living area and separate bedroom. Room is cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. We only ate breakfast twice during our weeks stay as it wasn't very nice. Huge variety of pastries but in terms of hot food, your choice limited, mini hot dog sausages, beans, eggs and on the odd occasion hash browns but the quality was cheap and just overall, not nice. Always plenty of sun loungers available by the pool, music is played from 11-6 (or thereabouts) and there is always entertainment staff getting you involved with water sports etc. The pool bar is reasonably priced and they do lovely Pizza's! It is card only though, they do not take cash. Taxi into the main part of Las Americas is around 5 euro each way or if you go to Costa Adeje(highly recommend) it's between 6 & 8 euro. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for and i don't have any complaints apart from the breakfast. The golf course view is STUNNING! The staff are lovely if you are patient with them.

The positives exceed any negatives. I will tell you everything bad that I can think about this hotel, and that is only because the list of positives would take far too long. Main reception; team are friendly and helpful. But we did report 3x times the same broken glass (a lot of glass on the floor) between the two pool areas, it did not get cleared away until the afternoon of the following day. It’s a large hotel (no lifts to the rooms), some rooms have very nice views and some not so nice, some are close to the entertainment (loud) and other have peace and quiet. I think the location of your room will have an impact of your experience. There's always somewhere to get something to eat or drink between 07:30 and 24:00 Food: The majority of the food was the same every day, with some changes, it was good enough, nothing to get excited about, like other we ate out a few times. Christmas dinner was disappointing, we should have eaten out on that day. Drinks: basic but good enough selection, most drinks are self-service. The only problem we had is when Juan (extremely rood at times) and the other young male bar staff would favour the Italian ladies, making it difficult to get served at certain time. Rooms: Everything was nicely cleaned every day, the furniture seems to be a bit dated, nothing was broken/dirty/bad enough that would be worthy of a complaint, it was nice to have towels and a mini fridge. The cleaner did leave our patio door open Every-day after we had closed it with the lock/catch, very strange. Swimming Pools; in need or some repair work, but it was excellent just what we needed (towels at €1.50 a day), plenty of space with a lot of choices for sunbeds, but this may have been down to the majority of the hotel staff and guests fell ill during our stay, some went to Hospital, no one knew why, some of the cleaning ladies started wearing gloves and masks. Only the main pool (chlorinated water) was heated (apx 25 degree), the kids pools (salt water) with slides not heated was far too cold, we did not see anyone use the kids pool, such a shame as we and other really wanting too. Sauna: only open 16:00 - 19:00 on Tuesdays + Thursdays + Sundays Didn’t work out to be the best time of day for us, such a shame as I really wanted too. Entertainment/Animation staff (Hotel, Alpitour, TUI) was excellent, made us feel like their friends, we joined in whenever possible. Between them, they speak most European languages. 10:00 - 12:00 Morning entertainment 14:00 - 16:00 Afternoon entertainment 21:30 - 22:00 Mini disco 22:00 - 23:00 Evening entertainment Everything was aimed towards New-Year, a lot more could have been done over Christmas. Location; is perfect with lots of choices for shopping, dining out or visiting beaches; The Canary Islands have a high crime rate during peak seasons, do not bring you expensive jewellery on Holiday and always take a TAXI after dark, TAXI's are cheap here and stay away from (don’t speak to) street-seller they ge
Spring Hotel Vulcano

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights on a half Board basis. On arrival check-in we were offered a complimentary glass of bubbly and as we arrived after the restaurant had closed they had layed on a light supper for us which was a nice thought. The hotel is located in the next street over from the Hardrock Café and fountains so is easy flat walking distance to the main resort area but has the advantage of being quiet in the evenings. The meals (breakfast and Dinner) are buffet all you can eat style with plenty of options. We usually found something tasty, but if you are a fussy eater or less adventureless your choices my be limited. If we went again I'd prefer B&B and go out for evening meals, just for some variety and because there are some good eateries in the resort. We had a Triple Standard room with a double bed and a sofa bed. It was clean, air conditioned and very comfortable with a small balcony. Although there were three adults in the room we only had two chairs on the balcony, and two of everything else like cups and glasses, which was unfortunte. The pool are was exceptional. There is one heated pool and one not and also a bubbly pool with sqirty shower toys which was fun. Both pools were great and not too busy when we were there. There plenty of sun beds and pool towels that can be exchanged every day. There is a pool bar on site with basic food and drinks at a reasonable price. There is also an UP experience (roof pool, drinks and snaks) for an additional charge but we didn't partake. One great feature is being able to check-in your hold luggage in the foyer of the hotel on the morning of departure. Overall Jet2 and the hotel provided an excellent package holiday. The staff could not have been more friendly.
