Having stayed there two years ago, the crisis really hit, especially in terms of catering. The hotel welcomes 80% German tourists who eat sausages, bacon, eggs, beans, tomato sauce, etc. for breakfast and who are not present at lunch, which resembles a really average canteen meal, dishes constantly recycled, deserted over 15 days, always the same cakes and pies served still frozen, dessert cream, 6 or 8 for 300 people. The dinner is no better. I really do not recommend running away, even unless you like low-end and repetitive food.

As my husband has mobility problems this location was perfect, except for the entrance which has a lot of steps, but there is another entrance about 150 yds past hotel which we pulled cases up. All of the team in reception/restaurant and housekeeping were amazing , all so friendly and very helpful. We had our own private bungalow which was cleaned every day. Food was freshly cooked at every sitting and had a great selection. Something for everybody. Location is a little way out from the beautiful marina and the centre ,which can be walked, but not for us. We got taxis which was approx 6 euros. Entertainment for February consisted of a different singer each night. They were also good + we met such lovely people while we were there..7 days wasn't long enough. Definitely will be making a return visit.

So much good to say, with a few minor kinks that could do with ironing out. Rooms (7/10) The rooms were lovely. Big, comfortable and most importantly, clean. The bathroom was lovely, the living room was basic but just enough, and the bedroom was cozy. Our room also had a nice little outdoor seating area out front which was very nice for the nights. My only issues with the room would be the beds and the thin(ish) walls. The bed, whilst comfortable enough, first of all, was 2 single beds pushed together rather than a double bed. This was a slight annoyance for me but I can imagine this being very annoying for some people. The beds also creaked and squeaked a lot of the time, not too loud, but noticeable. Secondly, our room was very close to the main bar, so the evening entertainment sounded like it could've been coming from the living room. Not ideal when we had an early morning flight home. To be completely honest, this wasn't a bother most nights. And the nights that there was entertainment, it wasn't an issue past around 11pm. Because when the entertainment was finished, general chatter couldn't be heard, only the amplified entertainment. Pool area (8/10) There were, at least in our case, more than enough beds around the main pool for us to not have to get up early to secure one. And as a bonus, we were never squashed between people, there were always a few beds either side of us that were empty. Granted, this may have just been luck as the hotel wasn't exactly rammed, but this was in June. There were plenty of parasols and tables available too. The kids pool area was a bit busier but that just means the kids aren't all in the main pool. That area is also semi-separated from the main pool area which ensured that time spent around the main pool was quiet enough and relaxing. Unfortunately, the pool was very cold, but in all honesty, the weather generally was too, the sun didn't really start to pick up until about 11am, and the pool did not heat up much through the day. Again, this may just be due to time of year but I can't say for sure - this hotel is on the coast of a small, breezy island. It did get pretty warm in the middle of the day through to the late afternoon, and sometimes the cold pool was a nice refreshing escape from the heat. But take from that what you will. There's a bar very close to the pool that has its own separate seating area and serves a decent selection of drinks and food too (at certain times of day). Food and Drink (7/10) Breakfast - A good selection, I mostly ate traditional English breakfast items, it was all pretty good (sausages, bacon, beans etc.) but nothing to rave about. My girlfriend ate a lot of the more continental items at breakfast and she loved it. Either way, there's something for everyone. Lunch - To be honest, we only used the restaurant for lunch once and it was pretty good. On the other days of our stay, we used the poolside snack bar, which was about what you'd expect (hot dogs, burgers, pizzas et

We went as a couple in the last week of January, the weather was good a bit windy but better than the English weather, all the accommodation is individual bungalows, you have your own terrace with table, chairs and sun loungers, you have a little fridge as well and a TV with English channels. We went half board, plenty of good quality and choice of food, something for everyone, we paid for the wine, this wasn't expensive €10 a bottle of red or rosé.Staff very attentive, very clean, very quiet accommodation, 15 minutes to beach, The steps were mentioned on a review, their are 15 steps, not an issue to us in our 60's. Overall excellent, so we're going back asap

Amaxing views from the spacious bungalow. Plenty of space outside for 2 sunbeds and table and chairs. Large warm pool and cold pool with a children's pool seperate. Such a big choice for breakfast. I'm a fussy eater and always found something to eat in the evening. Could be a little cold sometimes but microwave by toaster was used a couple of times to warm to my taste. Bottle of water in the fridge and able to top up at the reception for1.50€ Walking to the sea about 15 mins. Plenty of restaurants and shops and a great swimming bay. Will definitely go back.

Labranda review First of all I would like to say we stayed here in 2024 and thought it was a good hotel for what we paid so decided to return …. But boy were we wrong this time standards have changed a lot , it is not how we found it last year at all , this year we booked 3 adults in room looking forward to lazing around on the sunbeds outside the bungalow how wrong we were we asked for an extra sunbed for the 3rd person only to be told no as there is only enough around the pool for number of guest in the bungalows .. yet every time we passed the pool there were lots and I mean lots of sunbeds free I find it very bizarre that the extra adult in our room didn’t get full facilities to use as the other two guest , although they did supply an extra chair around the patio table so we had to keep switching around on who could use the sunbeds , absolute joke , and not a nice way to treat your 3rd guest and not good customer service to make your guest feel welcomed or catered for , we also found the cleaning not up to good standard this time the floors weren’t mopped properly probably with dirty water on some days as we ended up with really dirty socks from walking g around the bungalow and was our cups on some days weren’t washed by the cleaner and the daily free bottle of water a day is now non existent, so you have to pay for it , the door on the bathroom was so hard to open and got stuck plenty on times , the sofa bed was dirty , plaster was dropping off the wall behind the mural , and the air conditioning unit was absolutely filthy , there was always an awful smell in the reception area , never did find out what it was , the sunbeds around the pool area are so close together and I mean inches apart which made it uninviting as I wouldn’t like to share my personal space invaded to a point where I can smell the suncream on the stranger next to me, staff seem to be so overworked and look unhappy this I can fully understand as they always seem to be chasing their own tail, the restaurant is absolutely awful nothing looks appetising , one night was kebab meat where they were queuing 5 minutes per person for their meat helping, and then go into the rest of the buffet where things weren’t replenished which put your choice down further with things which wasn’t clearly labelled to know what was what, ok so onto the salad which again depending on what time you arrived you got just what was left , same also applies for the sweets. One night was Mexican night , on this particular night we had to scramble for a table , and then only to find there were no plates to put your food on, we decided to wait in the small bar area until things got a little less hectic .. on going back in, there were tortillas with no salsa or guacamole left and no attempt to refill them , some chilli con carne which resembled tinned meatballs cut up in a sauce , the only saving grace was the garlic chicken pieces .. my plate was filled with bits of what was left .. the eating in the rest

Arrived at hotel, staff welcoming and friendly, hotel spotlessly clean, rooms (bungalows) spacious, asked for rooms near restaurant and pools, 3 of them, plenty sun loungers , got great rooms nearby. Had our own patio with 2 sun loungers and table and 4 chairs, still loads room, maid in every day cleaning. All meals buffet style, and freshly made pasta was best I’ve had. All staff were helpful and so friendly, we can’t wait to go back..

The place its self is lovely and clean, staff very pleasant and helpful. The food not so good- a hit or a miss- can be repetitive. The entertainment is shocking! The entertainment team have no enthusiasm at all and close down at 10pm! Quiz 10 mins - 4 questions and very little interaction. The live music acts were good for the hour or so they were on, so if you looking for a great on site night - nope! The main busy area is a 20-30 min walk - lovely walk - we taxi back up only 5€ and taxis were plenty and helpful. Can walk to bus station get a bus to Arrecife- puerto de carmen etc- again easy and people - staff very helpful & polite
