Kamezí Boutique Hotel Villas

Sadly this was not for us and we found Kamezi really disappointing for myself, my husband and our teenager. We had booked directly after reading reviews and carefully considering our options on their website. We stayed in July which was quite expensive but we really thought it would be worth it. Unfortunately we had a number of maintenance issues with the villa which meant we had to report issues most days. Issues included no hot water for our showers in the evening, an insecure door allowing anyone to come through as the lock didn’t work and the door just swung open, the pool/terrace not being cleaned, and a constant drip from a leaking pipe outside our bedroom window. We were told our pool would be cleaned every three days but it wasn’t cleaned until day 5 and we were promised it would thereafter be cleaned everyday (due to this and other issues)…but it wasn’t cleaned on day 7 which was yet another call to customer service to accompany our other further issues. We didn’t need the pool cleaned everyday but it was meant to be a reassurance due to the numerous issues we’d been having and they couldn’t even follow through with that… I spoke to the Managing Director on day 4 who promised he’d get back to us in an hour…there was no sign of him but he did send Jillian to speak with us. Jillian is just lovely and a credit to Kamezi but I know there’s only so much she could do. We were gifted one drink each in the bistro as a means of apology which was nice. We also received a very minor refund which we’d have given up 100% to not have the issues we did It’s worth nothing there’s no air con in the villas. They kindly put fans in a couple of the rooms and my goodness, they were needed. I don’t understand why this isn’t an issue for others as the bedrooms especially were stifling with the July heat. Breakfast was enjoyable but a bit samey for the 9 nights we were there. Would’ve been nice to mix it up a bit perhaps adding yogurt, muesli or similar. The messaging service on the app wasn’t great - our first morning it took 2.5 hours for someone to get back to us. It wasn’t urgent but thought it might be a bit more efficient. We took pics of some wear and tear at the two bed Ocean villa we stayed in. This included a view to a lamppost which, albeit didn’t belong to Kamezi, was not pleasant to look at For the money we paid and the fancy website, we expected so much more. It had a beautiful setting / views and we loved Playa Blanca and will return, just not to Kamezi unfortunately.

My husband and myself stayed here for 4 nights and this was our first visit. We were greeted by the lovely reception staff who then showed us to our villa which was perfect. Both the inside and outside area were outstanding. So peaceful yet only a stone’s throw to the seafront. We like walking so walked every morning but it is along way into the centre of Playa Blanca about a hour but it is a lovely walk. If you go the opposite way towards the lighthouse and beyond the coastline is even better. There are quite a few restaurants and bars about 10 minutes walk away. We had a couple of cocktails in the rooftop bar one evening and it was so lovely a definite must. Big thank you to Glinda who arranged for us to have our villa longer on check out day. A very friendly lady who I had quite a few chats with. She is an asset to the team. Would highly recommend Kamezi for a relaxing peaceful holiday in tranquil surroundings.

We’ve been coming to Kamezi for a number of years and have seen it grow to an upmarket development with luxurious stylish villas. The breakfasts are good value and it’s great to have them delivered to the villa. The new rooftop cocktail bar with views over to Fuerteventura is a welcome addition and we used it on our arrival day as we’d arrived before the villa had been cleaned. Due to the number of years we’ve been coming, we’re entitled to a free dinner, but we had the tapas menu instead and it was great to be able to sit in the pod, relax and watch the world go by. We come back to the villas because the complex is so peaceful and feels very safe.

This was our third visit to Villas Kamezi, and we enjoyed it as much as the first two (in 2019 and 2023). As with previous visits, everywhere was spotless and well maintained, the staff were extremely helpful and eager to ensure that we were having a good time, and the villa was super comfortable. The deli has expanded the range of goods available, and there is now a bakery on site. Breakfast (delivered to your door) consists of lovely fresh ingredients and there is sufficient to cover a light lunch as well! This is certainly the place to relax and recharge your batteries - it is difficult to leave to come home!! I'm sure we will be paying a fourth visit sometime........

This was our third visit and we are already looking forward to our next visit. The villas are clean and modern and perfectly equipped with plenty of room. The staff are very helpful. we were given use of the courtesy room on our last day and we used the spa which was lovely as you get exclusive use for just your villa. the app is a great idea to order clean pool towels or report any problems. We really enjoy the breakfast its so nice getting fresh croissants delivered every morning. Its in a quiet part of playa blanca but there are some nice restaurants less than ten minutes walk away. its a very beautiful place.

It was our first visit to Lanzarote and we can't wait to return because the team at Kamezi made it worth our while. Huge thanks to Jillian and the team (Yelenis, Paola, Cynthia) for making everyday special & memorable. Special shout out to Jillian - who moved mountains to ensure this was a trip we will always remember. Our villas were very clean, the service was five star, the food was fantastic, the spa was magical. The artisan bakery and marketplace also added more magic to our experience. The staff always had smiles on their faces and were always ready to assist/advice when called upon. I should add that it was an extended family affair with over 20 people in our party, we all didn't want to leave, all our needs were catered for. Kamezi's location also meant we were very close to activities that suited all age groups. We never repeat holiday destinations, but Kamezi has become the exception to that rule. We definitely will be returning.

Have just returned from another wonderful stay at Kamezi Villas. Have holidayed here numerous times now which is indicative of just how much we love it there. For us the location is perfect and within easy reach of bars, restaurants and shops without the need of a car if able to stroll for 10 or 20 mins. If you want to venture further afield taxis and buses are at hand and very reasonably priced. You would be hard pushed to find anywhere closer to the sea with such amazing views from every direction including the neighbouring islands of Los Lobos and Fuerterventura. Despite our many stays there they never fail to give us the wow factor. Just love sitting at end of the garden, enjoying the views,  and watching the world go by and feeling very privileged. The villas are lovely with pretty much everything you could possibly need as well as comfy beds, choice of pillows and fantastic bathrooms and showers. The garden and pool are without doubt just stunning with lovely blossoming trees & shrubs and a variety of birds depending on the season. Staff are wonderful and service/attentiveness second to none with a genuine desire to improve all the time. We had breakfast delivered to the villa which was enough food for lunch too and  enjoyed both the tapas and tasting menu in the pods and Bistro respectively both of which were a bespoke experience and so delicious. The dine in service was also good if you just want to stay in and relax. The reception staff were fab, as always, noting and dealing with our requests promptly and efficiently. Any minor issues  we encountered were dealt with swiftly and any feedback much appreciated. A big thank you to Carlota, Glenda, Paola and Jillian for all their wonderful service and friendliness and also the housekeeping staff particularly Luisa who kept our Villa immaculate and who's smile would brighten any day. Thank you Kamezi team again for another wonderful stay, the lovely treats left in our villa and for rewarding our loyalty. Looking forward to our next visit very soon.

We have recently stayed in a 3 bedroom deluxe villa Gustave Flaubert. It was fantastic, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The pool and garden were well maintained as is the whole Villa complex. It was peaceful and tranquil. The breakfasts were delivered to the door each morning and were delicious. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the housekeeping staff were excellent. This is our second visit and I hope we will be back soon
