I am absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service and empathy from Hotel GT Beach. Despite a cancellation due to an unforeseen emergency involving a young child - to my utter disbelief, they proceeded to charge me the full amount (!!!) and have completely ignored all of my emails. Their blatant disregard for their customers is unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. Their indifference is shocking and unacceptable. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid GT Beach Hotel at all costs!

It is not what you see on the internet, the photos do not show the reality of the hotel, very very precarious, basic, poorly lit... And the worst thing is, they do not answer emails, the service is pathetic... I couldn't sleep even one night... I do not recommend it.

Nice family hotel. Only bad point is that housekeeping is equal to nothing, they don t clean daily and change bedsheets after only 3 days. The pool is nice but closes at 08.00 pm. Easy parking in front of hotel. Restaurant is quite simple but a few main plates.

What an absolute bargain of a place! Staff warm and friendly, rooms clean and spacious, great location, nice reasonably priced bar, free breakfast and free sun loungers on the beach. Walking distance to some shops and restaurants. We would come back!

The only problem we had with the hotel for the first night of our recent trip to Crete was finding it on one of the three roads in Maleme running parallel to the shore. Some hotels etc had set up direction signs, but we didn't spot one for GT Beach. We might even have driven straight past if I hadn't see a pool & buildings which looked just like the website's picture. Our room was one of four in a single story block, and the closest to the car park, beach etc. Initially the size of the bed made it seem small, but the clever use of space for the shower, basin and toilet allowed us adequate room, certainly for one night. Minifridge and AC included. Other comments: There are recliners and umbrellas on the beach across the road; unfortunately we could only paddle, as the waves meant it was red-flagged. My wife enjoyed a dip in the pool. There is an outdoor bar area, with drinks available from a chiller cabinet via Reception. Breakfast is a buffet in the main building with a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Altogether a good start to our holiday.

Highly recommend! Best quality customer Service, delicious breakfest, quiet place, clean, nice big pool I would definetly come back there with no doubts. I enjoyed my stay a lot. Best regards for all staff from polish people.

Apart from Eden Viaggi who diverted me from another hotel to this one... Gtbeach with all the understanding for the staff who try to do their best, but don't have the capacity. There are kids who work. The buffet is a disgrace to the structure, as it was already finished halfway through the service. Cleaning of the rooms every other day because according to the manager there was a lack of staff. I discovered that it is passed off as 4 stars, but in reality it is 2.

The structure consists of several mini-apartments built around a rather large swimming pool. The important thing to know is that you shouldn't arrive here without a car and with the idea of only going to the beach across the street. There are many other truly beautiful beaches in Crete! So, if you consider this as a base for visiting the western part of the island, you won't be disappointed. We didn't really understand how often the apartments are cleaned, but in any case you just need to ask if anything is missing or if the towels are changed, and you will be satisfied. The breakfast is more than sufficient (exceptional yogurt), the dinner is decent (it's not a restaurant but you can eat easily). The only real flaw I found is that dinner can be had until 9pm and at that time the staff starts taking everything away. To be in a seaside town (and in Greece) it is really too early. Apart from this (but it's not their fault) the staff were all very courteous and helpful.

Structure not on the sea, the giant pebble beach as well as not being equipped is separated from the hotel by a slip road, bad cleaning in the same way as the buffet, mini pool, towels changed every 4 days, table tennis unusable
