The most amazing holiday. The staff were all incredible and hard working, they couldn’t do enough for you. Even in 38 degree weather they were extremely hard working, so thank you all so much. Our room was room 623, it was an inland view room and it was brilliant. The balcony was huge, the room was always lovely and clean. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The aircon was amazing especially coming in after such hot days. The only thing slightly annoying was in the shower there would be a sudden burst of boiling water which would occur sporadically while showering but we put this down to the plumbing and showering at busier times? Having read a few questionable reviews before arriving in Zante we were concerned we were going to have a repeat of our holiday last year to Crete. We had previously stayed last year in a ‘5*’ hotel in Crete which was fairly poor, hotel lovely but drinks and food just terrible and room was questionable. I can honestly say this year we were blown away and everything beat our expectations. I can’t believe there is any bad reviews for this hotel. Special mention to Ervin, Asimina & the man who works at the pool bar / entertainment sea front on the later shifts (we didn’t catch his name, we also hope we’ve spelt the other two names correctly) they were all stand outs for us. Super friendly, hard working and always had a smile on their face while doing so. Matt the TUI rep on site in the hotel was a great help, really friendly and helpful guy. The 3 entertainment girls were brilliant, always enthusiastic and bubbly, they really made you feel welcomed. Beds are easy to get, the better ones were being reserved early but you could always find a bed no matter what time and you were always in the sun so this didn’t matter to us. The cocktails were amazing! All real alcohol and juice, no pre mixed drinks or cheap alcohol. Food was great, plenty of variety (coming from someone who is fussy) Night time entertainment was brilliant. Something different most nights, from an Elton John tribute act, to Greek dancers and a live singer. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to stay in the hotel your whole trip or if you want to venture out. There’s lots to do near by, cars to rent, boat trips to go on and supermarkets to go to. One downside to the hotel is there are no wrist bands for guests which you see at other hotels (everyone is all inclusive so I understand why this is the case.) With this we were certain we had seen some people staying in the hotel bringing in their friends to the hotel every day, drinking for free round the pool and taking up some of the best beds who were actually staying else where and hadn’t paid to be there at all. After drinking by the pool all day we would then see them leave back to their own hotels for lunch/dinner times to return for drinks later on. This was really annoying to see as someone who’s paid full price to be there, it seemed unfair on the hotel and the actual

We had the most amazing honeymoon at the Caravel! Staff were waiting to greet us as soon as we arrived - we were offered a welcome drink while we checked in and our bags were taken to our room. We stayed in a sea view room with a jaccuzi and it was amazing. The room was lovely and the view from our balcony was stunning. There was a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us and the room also had a mini fridge filled with soft drinks and water that was refilled during our stay. The whole hotel felt relaxing and peaceful, yet had plenty of activities to keep you busy if you wanted. We joined in with darts which was good fun, and we also enjoyed the pool party and beach party. Our favourite activity was the cocktail class, would definitely recommend booking this! The activity hosts were all friendly and enthusiastic. The evening entertainment was also good - we enjoyed the live music and 'The Night' was fantastic. The pool area was lovely. The infinity pool was cool enough to be refreshing but still warm enough that you could spend a while relaxing there. Some people did seem to get up very early and reserve beds but hotel staff were quite good at enforcing their policy of not reserving beds before 9am and removing towels that had been unattended for over an hour. We never struggled to get a bed in a nice area. The food and drinks at the hotel were amazing, a real highlight for us. The cocktails were fantastic and it was a nice touch having drinks service, especially around the pool. It was slightly slower service during the day (but the bar was close so it wasn't a problem) but on an evening the staff were so attentive and made sure everyone was served as quickly as they could. I was slightly nervous about food before our stay as we had read some reviews that mentioned it being repetetive/not much choice, but we found that this couldn't have been further from the truth. We enjoyed the different themed nights and found that food was different every day. There was an incredible amount of choice for evening meals and breakfast, it was almost overwhelming trying to decide what to have! I'm quite a fussy eater but really enjoyed every meal and found that there was plenty of choice for me. We didn't visit the main restaurant for lunch as we decided to go to the snack bar instead. The food here was fantastic, plenty of choice and all freshly cooked. The best meal was definitely at the Culinarium. It was a beautiful restaurant looking over the sea, and the food was fantastic, both in presentation and taste. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would love to return in the future. The hotel is simply amazing and the staff work incredibly hard to look after their guests. We would highly recommend the Caravel to anyone!

We have just arrived home after a fantastic 11 nights at the caravel. We requested a room but didn’t get the one we chose, however we did get an excellent sea view room , Room 910. Everything about it was perfect. The food at the hotel is tasty and the night at the cullanarium was a lovely touch with beautiful dishes to choose from. We stayed at the smaller pool most days, Aqua Aerobics each day at this pool was great fun. Bar staff very cheery and chatty even when it was so hot. Drinks are lovely and refreshing , only negative were the soft drinks were flat and very sweet. We opted for the fresh lemon juice and smoothies, much nicer option. The entertainment team worked their socks off and always with a smile. They are a great asset to this hotel. I visited the spa for a facial and a massage. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return in the future

Just returned from the Caravel where we spent 10 days for our honeymoon, and all I can say is my Husband and I were blown away. It was the first proper adults only hotel we’ve stayed at and as it was our honeymoon we paid to stay in a swim up double room with a sea view, and we were not disappointed when we opened up our curtains to see that view for the first time the room we had was simple but modern, spacious and everything you need for a room to get ready in and sleep in. The bed was was super comfortable, the mini bar was restocked daily with water and soft drinks and the maids work incredibly hard keeping the rooms clean throughout the day, and we tipped them for that at the end of our holiday. When we arrived they had given us an ice bucket with a bottle of champagne and a cake which I thought was such a lovely thought. The hotel itself is spectacular, it’s a lot bigger than we imagined but from our room you could walk down the corridor and straight down onto the beach. It’s kept clean and up to scratch by the incredible staff who you notice are up early watering the lawn, cleaning the pools etc. The wifi was okay, it did disconnect frequently but I think this was because we were in the farthest block and didn’t bother us too much as we had signal on our phones and it always worked in spots of the room and when moving around the hotel. For foodies, the buffet has a wide range of choice. My husband and I are not really one for all inclusive buffets but I will say this is probably the best we’ve eaten at. We ate our lunches majority of time in the snack bar. It has such a wide range of choices on the menu, such as club sandwiches, salads, toasties, burgers, pastas, wraps, pizzas, gyros… the list goes on! But it was 10/10 service there always and the food always tasted good and was fresh. The drinks selection was exceptional, and the cocktails are the best I’ve tasted at an all inclusive. The staff must do so many steps walking around the hotel taking, collecting and delivering orders - the most hard working and lovely staff we had the pleasure of being around and chatting with. You get 1 free sitting at the Culinarium which is their 4 course ‘al a carte’ restaurant that you can book through the TUI Blue app for the evenings. If you’re into al a carte, you’ll love this restaurant. It’s very posh and they serve you with starter/dessert wines, breads whilst you wait etc, and even though the portions look small, it was super filling, well cooked and well presented. The pools were cold but exactly what you need in Greek heat ☀️ plenty of sun loungers around and always spare even if you wake up later, and I loved the sofa beds that they have around too which were comfy and complimented the view even more. The seating was plentiful and comfy. The beach was an amazing touch to this hotel, slightly rocky walking in but nothing too crazy. We didn’t sit directly on the beach and there are signs that say the seats are for Caravel use only, but lots

Just came back from our honeymoon trip here. The food was absolutely amazing here Spyros the chef has done an incredible job here. The staff work so endlessly hard they’re a credit to this hotel. Girls around the pool getting you drinks always have a smile. The hotel needs a lick of paint but overall the hotel was spotless and always clean. The food & staff were bang on and we would definitely be returning in the future.

Overall our experience was decent. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, right on the beachfront, facing the sunrise. The grounds are reasonably well maintained. The beach area is rather rocky with lots of debris. With fixed wooden parasols. Sunbeds old, but comfortable. Sunbeds on the grassed area the same but with adjustable fabric parasols. Unfortunately guests here seem to like to reserve sunbeds, not really what you expect in an adults only five star hotel. So unless your up early and join them in the madness, you’ll be left with whatever you can find. We stayed in room 653(large balcony), it was as we expected, basic but had what you needed. Air con was ice cold. Plenty of room on the balcony and had sun all day long. The shower would fill up and overflow into the toilet/rest of the room, so we had to sacrifice a hand towel each day to create a barrier to try and slow the flow of water out of the shower area. This is a common problem in other reviews, seems they aren’t interested in fixing it. Staff were very friendly all over the hotel, couldn’t fault them for that. And worked hard in the heat. Drinks were average overall. Beer was nice, wine reasonable. Cocktails lovely most of the time. Soft drink though, were terrible. They were completely flat the whole week. Not one bit of carbonation in them, was like drinking melted ice lollies; completely un-drinkable. Bar service pretty slow, I presume this is largely down to the freshly prepared cocktails, which were very hit and miss, depending on the bar staff preparing them. Majority were pretty good though. Table service from the bars was ok, but again, hit and miss depending on the waiter. Food was great, very tasty but not a huge selection, although there was still always something for everyone. The cullinarium was lovely too, just far too hot to enjoy your food in the evening there, it needs a fan or two installed like the snack bar has. Watch out for the bench seats in the food areas they are weirdly low compared to all the other seats they will catch you by surprise and then leave you looking like an ant sat at the table. Snack bar was incredible, good table service with delicious food. The Club Sandwich was to die for. The unlimited ice cream in this area was also great, real good tasting creamy ice cream, just wish some of it was replenished a bit quicker and the scoop wash bowl could have been cleaned out more frequently. Entertainment was okay. A couple of good nights, some not so good, the quality of acts could certainly be improved. As well as the area could really do with redesigning, tiny stage and very dim lighting made it hard the acts to interact with the audience. Cleanliness could improve, especially in the pools themselves, rather slimy and with murky water. Cobwebs etc could be seen in some of the communal areas. The in room cleaner though, was great our room was always clean and tidy with fresh towels and a made bed. We saw her nearly every morning working v

Upon arrival at the Caravel we were greeted by concierge who took our bags and we were seated in the lobby, given relevant paperwork to fill out, along with a glass of bubbly. There was no standing in a queue waiting to be checked in - good touch. We had 2 sea view, swim up rooms booked - one for us and one for our teenage children! The rooms were light, airy, spacious and more importantly - clean. View was great. We got the sun from about 12.30/1pm so would go to the beach after breakfast, which was a stones throw away and easy enough to get a lounger. The beach - sea in particular is pebbly so would recommend beach shoes. We spent the afternoons at our swim up! Food was great, and for an all inclusive there was always plenty of variety and it was of great quality. Snack bar is fantastic, again really good food. Also the Al a Carte is a must try, lovely food. We didn’t really do any activities at the hotel but there was plenty to do, if that’s for you. We did a day trip with Nefis Travel, which was fantastic and well worth it. The staff at the Caravel are fantastic, from concierge, to reception, to entertainment team, to waiting staff, chefs, spa, cleaners. They are some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve encountered and nothing is too much. Everything is done with a smile. All in all we had a great holiday, relaxing and revitalising. We would return, eventually and the only reason not straight away is because we like to visit different places but can 100% see why people do return here year on year.

Just outstanding. Brilliant food, attentive service and smiles. I had such a well needed break. I felt relaxed from start to finish. Drinks were of high quality (not boxed cocktails!) and the beer was very good. The food wasn’t processed - all fresh. The room was what it needed to be. I would 100% recommend and I will be back!

We just got back from our stay at TUI blue caravel here is my review ROOM we had a sea view with balcony room - 210, we didn’t really spend much time on the balcony but we do prefer a sea view over a car park/ road. We must of been on top of the bottle banks because at night about 11:30-1:00 we could hear bottles being dropped into a bin. We also did have an older room with an old style bathroom which was fine but for the price you pay and for 5 star I would say it’s very basic. The pillows were rock hard so I would maybe request softer ones next time, I heard someone call for this when I was at reception. Our aircon in our room was amazing I actually slept in a jumper whilst my partner had it freezing. DRINKS I am not a massive drinker I don’t mind the odd drink but I don’t like to drink a lot and the soft drinks were horrible pure syrup tasting. In the mini fridge in your room you do get cans but they are not proper Coke/fanta/ sprite. I was very disappointed in this as paying a lot of money for all inclusive when I’ve had to go out and buy cans of soft drinks (I know they are not expensive but it’s not the point). I noticed they had Coke/coke zero in the fridge near the waters and asked if I could have one and the man said no we have others?? FOOD I found the food okay i am a little more fussy than my partner he found the food good, but I just found stuff didn’t really go together and there wasn’t much choice especially at lunchtime. Luckily they have the snack bar which you can go to for lunch. We did go out one night for a meal in a local restaurant and went for a crepe nearby too which was both lovely. POOL/ ENTERTAINMENT The pool was the best bit, we got sunbeds on top of the pool everyday and the staff come round for drinks, you can help yourself to water. On Saturday there was a pool party with a DJ which was very good, nice to have some music on in the day. We like to book places that have good sunbeds something abit more luxury and If we was to be on the sunbeds on the grass it wouldn’t have had that feel to it, so maybe that needs updating. STAFF The staff at the hotel were amazing and couldn’t fault them, all very friendly. The staff in the dining hall were quick to come round for drinks. TUI blue entertainment staff were brilliant always make an effort to chat to you, and the pool party and silent disco was great. All the bar staff worked very hard to keep you served throughout the night/ day. THE HOTEL The hotel over all is very clean and looks very modern downstairs, I’m assuming as some of the rooms are new that they are doing things up one at a time. The bar, reception and dining area was very nice. The pool was the best part of the hotel for me with the beds on top and the sea view. One thing I would say is that it is abit of a waste of space with the beds at the front because they have no shade so no one sits on them which if the had the beds with shade people would sit there. The aircon at the hotel was the best
