Having just returned from a week at this hotel, I can thoroughly recommend it for a relaxing adults only stay. As previous reviewers have mentioned, all the hotel staff are amazing and particular mention must go to Maria who was fantastic. The staff really do care about their guests. The breakfast was great and so much choice. It would be difficult not to find something that you like. Thank you to all hotel staff for making our stay so wonderful!

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Contessina suites & spa. From the moment I arrived at this hotel I felt completely relaxed. The staff went above and beyond throughout the duration of my stay, nothing was ever too much and they made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. The drinks on arrival were a really great touch and really set the tone for how much of a fantastic stay you’ll have at this hotel. The breakfast is great and yet again the staff at breakfast are fantastic, really attentive and their service is always efficient and friendly. Our room (224) was brilliant, beautifully decorated with lots of space and a really comfy bed! The double sinks separate to the bathroom we really liked. The spa is a MUST. This spa was better than any I have been to in the UK, and no surprises that the staff in the spa were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The app to use to order food and drinks around the hotel is also a great touch and again the service from using this app was fantastic. I think there a few improvements that could be made to this hotel which we did address with the staff but worth a mention below (this didn’t impact our stay in any way but definitely things to be aware of). The snack menu isn’t great for vegetarians, they have around 5 options and 2 of which are pasta (I personally didn’t want to eat pasta around the pool in the middle of the day) it would be great if they could add a couple more choices for vegetarians or even some lighter options to this menu. We had a few issues with the button to turn our shower on in room 224 which we addressed around 3 times with the hotel. Each time they sent one of the maintenance team around and they never had any problems turning the shower on but as soon as they left the problem continued, this was frustrating but again didn’t impact the stay in any way and hopefully they investigated the issue further once we left. The location of the hotel is also fantastic with so many great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The restaurant halfway house which is a 2 minute walk away from the hotel is a MUST try. All in all a fantastic hotel with beautiful scenery and excellent staff. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here, I’m hoping to return next year!

Lovely hotel and great location. We didn’t bother getting one of the rooms with the private pool just outside, and we are glad as there wasn’t much sunlight getting through - main pool area in the centre was great with very comfortable sun loungers. We did get the whirlpool bathtub which I thought was worth it. Great choice for breakfast and the hotel has an app for food/beverages to the sun loungers. We weren’t too impressed with the food at the roof top terrace considering the price for an 8 course meal but the service was extremely good. Very happy with all the staff and their attention to detail and making sure we had a pleasant stay. Thank you :)

This review is a long time coming. We visited last August and planning this summer holiday has made me think about how incredibly special and perfect this hotel was. Firstly a big thank you to Sarah and 2 Maria's which I remember. Sarah for really taking note of my room request, and delivering just what we wanted. Both Maria's were lovely, buzzing around the restaurant and making everyone feel so welcome. The room and the pool view were luxurious. I normally opt for a sea view, after a lot of research and wanting to come to this area, this hotel was a must, so we sacrificed the sea view. But the pool view was delightful. Being adult only it was calm and decadent. I loved spending time pool side- and I do not normally like to do that in other hotels. We stayed in a first floor pool view suite. Perfect! Breakfast was the best we have had in any hotel. My partner and I exercised daily in the morning, so we were allowed to take some breakfast away to eat afterwards. This was an excellent service and really appreciated. Good gym in the sister hotel, fine for what I needed. We had a stunning cheese and wine evening, a private experience which was held in the cellar. So special! If you are fussy! Book this hotel! You will be pleased. I thought the surrounding town was quite nice, but I was not a bit fan of the beach. Some great restaurants, as we were only B&B. SeaSky one to mention. Thank you all at this great hotel!

This hotel exceeded our expectations on multiple levels. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic, and the staff took allergies seriously, which was reassuring. The room is clean and fresh with a comfortable bed and pillows, as well as AC, which contributes to a good night's sleep. Our room also had a side pool with a mattress. There was morning sun, and it felt like an extra luxury that made the experience even more relaxing. The decor is both modern and stylish, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, enhancing the stay even further. The common pool area was quiet and very relaxing. The sun loungers and cushions by the pool are comfortable, and it’s a big plus that you can’t reserve sun loungers in advance, ensuring a fair distribution. Close to shops and restaurants and only 10 minutes to the sea. We would love to come back here sometime in the future. We miss it already.

I'm out of words to describe how incredible our holiday was at Contessina suites & spa. We stayed here for 7 days, 6 nights and it was the most amazing holiday ever. We've never experienced anything like this; the kindness, hospitality, helpfulness and most of all the warmth that you get from the staff is above all expectations. Every little detail is thought of so well; the rooms are provided with dental kits, shaving kits, sewing kits etc and every day you get fresh water. The rooms were above expectation and even better than on the listing photos! We got the chance to update our room to a swimup room, and it was the best decision ever; it was worth every penny. The food and drinks selection is extremely good and the food quality was excellent. Overall this is the best hotel we've ever visited and we would visit again without hesitation! We really do thank everyone who did their utter best to make this holiday the best we've ever had and has made us feel so welcome and appreciated. If you have the chance than you should really visit Contessina Suites & Spa, it is worth every penny!! Much love & thanks from The Netherlands

A special stay which left us not wanting to leave. Felt superbly looked after from the moment we entered. A special thank you to Sarah and the reception team for always going above and beyond for us. Sarah even accommodated our dietary requirements for gluten free pancakes, as well as always being so happy and welcoming to be around. Another special thank you to Maria for organising our needs, recommending and booking the most amazing Greek night for us. Thank you to the catering team for the most amazing breakfasts cooked every morning, a wide variety and easily the best range of breakfast options you could ever imagine. Thank you to Eirene for always being so lovely and always getting our coffees and eggs just right for us every morning. A special shout to Eva, Anastasia, Fotis and Giorgos for being so welcoming every morning and nothing was ever too much of an ask. Pool area was amazingly clean with no shortage of beds and the suites and spa is so amazingly run, a compliment to every member of staff for how the place is kept and maintained. Towels changed twice a day, bed made up twice a day - complimentary offers by the pool by way of massages, fruit and shots - 10 days of luxury. Would not hesitate to stay again and well worth every pound spent!
