Always a lovely welcome, great service and friendly atmosphere weather you are stopping for drinks or snacks. Snacks are always tasty, beer cold and with a great view over the bay, a great way to start, end or have a bite to eat during the day. Well worth the extra walk out of Plakias

We had a last minute week at the apollo apartments and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The room felt brand new, lovely bed, new bedding. Clean and spacious with a great shower room and kitchenette. Nice balcony with table and chairs. The owners and staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast served by the pool was fresh and tasty. The pool was very nice and well maintained, lovely for a cool down after a day out. I would be happy to recommend this place to anyone we loved it.

Second visit and had another great holiday. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and spacious, and cleaned every other day. Lovely pool and pool bar, and local to village and beach as well as Rethymno main town. Lots of restaurants, tavernas and gift shops to choose from.

When we visit Plakias we always go to Nikos On The Rocks it’s a must! It is the most relaxing place ever, the food is always fresh and tasty and the beer is always ice cold and very refreshing, Nikos is a great guy who is always smiling and working hard to make sure everyone is looked after! We will be back this year and look forward to chilling On the Rocks once more….

We felt completely at home at Nikos. The room is clean and has a dream view. The terrace was amazing. There is a 10% discount on breakfast for overnight stays - there is no better place to have breakfast - very pleasant atmosphere. Also one evening a very chill atmosphere with pleasant bar music - a touch of the Caribbean. And there are no moskitos! Nikos is a very good host, all his staff are very friendly too!

Great beach with beds that are 'free' if you purchase drink / food etc, Nicos comes round frequently and will bring your drinks / food to you, good beach with snorkeling opportunities. Friendly / nice vibe bar at night, snacks & water always given to you when you order a drink, nice music always playing , fantastic views, love going there when in Plakias and would recommend it to you should you be in the area.
