I had a great extended stay with Marta and Magnus. They’re both fantastic hosts who made me feel at home. They were very welcoming, always making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The room was spotless, and the breakfast was amazing. I’d highly recommend staying with them!

A perfect spot to unwind and from which to explore! Marta and Magnus were very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. Even in October, we still took a dip in the pool (but only after a warm day). Easy access to several towns and a very nice shared space by the pool to relax if you decide not to wander for an afternoon.

Marta and Magnus hosted with charm and ease, they are both lovely people helping to create a positive experience. From an amazing homemade breakfast with fresh orange juice to help guiding your day with the best to do in the area. Our accommodation was perfect, spacious, comfortable and clean. Would absolutely recommend this B&B!

We simply cannot say enough positive things about our hosts and the property! Our room was so charming and the bed perfect! The breakfasts were unbelievably good and a cultural lesson in themselves! One word to describe them: WOW! You MUST take their cooking class while there! We learned SO much, had a GREAT time, enjoyed getting to know our fellow guests, and ate DELICIOUS dishes we helped prepare! So grateful that Marta sent home all the recipes with us and even helped us buy some of the paella ingredients when we had an epic language failure trying to buy them on our own! We also did the wine and cava tour and loved that, too!!! We were very grateful for Magnus driving because the pours were much bigger than wine tastings in the US! Haha! We came back to the most delightful, delicious lunch prepared by Marta and served outside by the pool, overlooking the vineyard. Then, I have to be honest - it was siesta time! This trip was our fourth time to Barcelona, and we were looking to do something different. This wonderful place fit the bill perfectly! It was such an easy drive from Barcelona (Take the tollway! Super easy to use!). The towns nearby offered a wide variety of restaurants with delicious food! Honestly, we can't wait to come back and just spend an extended time here!

Lovely location, and fanatstic hosts, really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. Give plenty of information on things to do and see locally. Breakfast was amazing. It was lovely to sit in the garden, take a dip in the pool, all very relaxing. Highly recommended.

I chose this place for a 3 night stay for ourselves and friends to wind down after my daughter’s wedding. It turned out to be the perfect place to relax and recharge. Firstly the area. The place is full of wineries where you can do tours, tastings or they operate as wine bars where you can drop in for a glass or two and some tapas. Our favourite was Pares Balta. There are wine maps in the B&B and lots of helpful suggestions. We also visited Montserrat, Vilafranca (market day Saturday) and Simon Coll chocolatier for a tour. So if you like to get out and explore a non touristy area with very friendly people this is an ideal place to stay. So now to the accommodation. Upon returning each day we would relax in the garden by the pool. Two nights we ordered the dinner boxes from Marta and feasted on fresh bread, tomatoes, meats and cheeses. Fish platters were also available. To make your holiday as easy as possible there are wines, beer, snacks and ice creams always available so you can really just switch off. Tea and coffee are also available all day too. The rooms are all spotlessly clean and comfortable. Spacious, with good hairdryers and great showers. The breakfast deserves a review all of its own. Such a wide choice of breads, pastries, meats and cheeses, yoghurts and more. Our particular favourite was the bruschetta with houmous, avocado and tomato. You’ll be waited on and treated like a queen (or king). Eggs are also cooked to order and I can guarantee you will be full to the brim. We really enjoyed our leisurely breakfasts in the garden which was so peaceful. Now the hosts. We absolutely adored Marta and Magnus. A truly wonderful couple so well suited to hospitality. Their warm and welcoming nature, willingness to make your stay as special as possible and of course lots of ideas of places to visit, make them a pair you will always remember fondly. They have created a little slice of heaven and I’d truly recommend the place and area to anyone.
