Knights Inn Pittston

I was disappointed that the jacuzzi rm i always liked with the green marble is no longer available and that I frequently book here and although they state updated I have seen no updates. I also like the option of smoking rms which the only update I seen was no smoking. Staff is friendly,and no safety issues as there are cameras and it is rather quiet. Just disappointed with how they state upgrades and there were no upgrades just downgrades by not offering smoking rms and getting rid of the one nice jacuzzi rm.

An Older Place with New Life This motel is older but the owners have made big efforts to modernize and improve. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was firm, freshly made and more than adequate. The pillows were not very good - fortunately we bring our own. The shower was excellent - modern, good adjustable pressure, lots of hot water. The vanity was new, though the faucet needed some tightening and a little grease on the o-rings. Internet was adequate and the gentlemen at the desk gave a little advice on hooking up. The TV did not work, but since we don't watch TV, we weren't concerned. The A/C worked fine, though a little bit noisy. This place was a very good value, convenient to the major highways, and well managed.

Check in area had me on edge and claustrophobic. Our room was very clean but upon walking in were hit by a nasty stench. We had to get a car air freshner and stick in the AC. Sketchy characters in parking lot after dark. I would not return. Pay the extra 20 and go to the next town off 81.

Good room. Good price for the area. Clean and quiet. No complaints.
