This is a pretty decent hotel. It is much better than the Hilton Garden Inn we previously stayed in down the street. We initially reserved a studio with 2 queen beds, but got upgraded to a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. My kids were beyond excited because they got their own room, TV and bathroom. My husband appreciated the private bath and corner view with plenty of windows. It was VERY spacious. Our room was listed as having a king bed, but it seemed more like a queen. The pillows and mattresses were not very comfortable, which was disappointing. The bathrooms were clean. The bedrooms were fine, but a bit dusty. The kitchen/living areas were not as clean. The sofa was pilled up and had blonde hairs on it. The kitchen cabinets, stove, table, chairs and fridge had smudges and fingerprints on them, which I found a bit gross. Although there was a full kitchen, there weren't any cleaning supplies aside from a meager roll of cheap paper towels. No dish detergent. No disinfectant spray. Luckily, we didn't really need to use the kitchen. At one point, we used 2 forks and a bowl, so I called the front desk for some detergent and they brought me dishwasher pods which we didn't use. I bought Clorox wipes at the CVS down the street to clean up and left the bowl and forks rinsed off in the sink for housekeeping to wash. Despite these shortcomings, we will most likely stay here again. We'll just be better prepared. Also, be aware that the parking is first come, first serve. We parked and walked to our destinations, which was very easy since the hotel is right on Forbes Ave.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. When we got to our room we discovered the air conditioner wasn't working and we were missing a TV remote, but two employees arrived within the hour and handled both. Our space (a two room suite with a king bed) was suitable for our needs. We recently stayed in a king room in NYC and by comparison this place was practically a house. The place was clean, no noticeable stains, dirt, dust, etc. The kitchen was adequately stocked with plates, cups, and cookware, and the fridge was ice cold. I was surprised to find relatively close parking in the private lot despite being there during three Pirates' games and Anthrocon. The breakfast was decent, and the staff was friendly. My small list of nitpicks: - I wish the kitchen had a toaster and an actual coffee pot (or a Keurig) - The TVs had just a few streaming options (Netflix, Prime, and Pluto) and either I didn't know how to cast or the TVs didn't have that option. - While they did thankfully fix our A/C, it did struggle to maintain an admittedly cold setting (in its defense it was in the 90s the entire time) - Maybe it was just our fridge, but the ice machine didn't work in the freezer and we used the one ice cube tray quickly each day (because, again, over 90 out).
