Definitely need a housekeeping supervisor to ensure that rooms are deep cleaned after each guest. The lack of detail with dusting the air vents, cleaning/dusting/disinfecting the commonly touched areas was very shocking for the prices. Even after the manager came to our room to ensure it was cleaned, it was not done to my satisfaction. The place made me feel filthy and unclean. Just to know that there was probably a lot of filth that was also unseen. You can definitely tell that new management (General manager, Housekeeping Manager, and Concierge) is needed and the staff needs to be retrained with their focus being customer satisfaction in all aspects of the guest's stay. The food was not good at all. Our birthday weekend would have been better if we stayed at a no frills 3 star hotel because at least we would not have such high expectations. The best part of our stay was my spa experience. It was top notch! Also, we appreciate the hotel accommodating our travel schedule by allowing us early check in and check out. This allowed us to save money and time that would have been used on a rental car and reduced time we had to spend carrying our bags around and waiting at the airport.

Great place to stay in Pitts. Connected to the David Lawrence convention Centre is a convenience. Many trendy restaurants in the vicinity. Staff was kind and helpful. Concierge desk was specially helpfull with our city needs and reservations. Comfertable rooms. Loved it.

Perfect location if you are attending an event in the North Shore area! You step outside of the hotel and are right outside of the People’s Gate for PNC Park or 10 minute walk to Lombardi. We came for a show at Stage AE & were so happy about the quick walk to and from the venue. Additionally, you can quickly walk down by the river or take a stroll into downtown. Breakfast in the morning is one of the best services I have had at an RI. The man who sets up the service is a straight hustler & makes sure everything is top tier (sausage patties were delicious). Everything was fresh and hot. If you are parking in the lot, watch out for nails. There is a construction site across the street and we left the parking lot with 2 nails in our tires. (Note we stayed Nov 2023) Just want to say Julian at the front desk was so nice! Extremely knowledgeable about the area.

Loved this place. I usually do enjoy Kimptons but not all of them nail the right combination of informality/boutiquishness and luxury. This one does. Check in staff was friendly and they had preupgraded me based on my IHG status and room request. The room was spacious, tasteful and beautifully appointed, with high end bed and bedding, fun and functional furniture and lighting and an absolutely fabulous bathroom with a freestanding tub and massive shower enclosure. Could have lived in that bathroom. The evening social hour featured a nice selection of wines and beers and a really tasty appetizer from the bar. Breakfast at the Commoner was well presented though I personally would like to see the addition of a few vegetarian items. Another positive of this Kimpton (for me) was that I asked to be on a dog-free floor and as far as I could tell I was. I never understood how allowing pets made sense in this caliber of hotel. Two minor suggestions I can think of are to supply a water bottle or two in the room (tap water came out warm and didn't taste great) and don't put decorative pillows on the beds adjacent to the sleeping pillows (unhygienic since they never get washed), Still, overall a great stay and a property I'd recommend to others.

The hotel itself is good, the location is in the city center, it is very convenient to walk around and eat. Parking can stop at the parking building across the road, but the hotel charges $30 a day for the night, the parking lot price is $28 overnight, but the second day when I left, I charged $12, I suggest you go directly to the parking lot. The location is particularly good. If the weather is good, I feel that I can walk to most places. I can go straight to lyft and get cheap. Pittsburgh has bad traffic. In this place, it is more worry-free to drive others than to drive. I feel that the service is very good, but the first The shortcoming of the tripartite reservation is that a lot of services can't be enjoyed. The room is small, but the facilities are very complete, there is a small refrigerator, the heating is very good! ! There is a parking lot next to the hotel, the kind of valet parking, it feels very casual, but it is very cheap, 6 knives a night. There are also two garages, one 18-knife one night, one 10-knife one night, the environment is not bad... next to 711, there are subways, there are small supermarkets.
