The location of awesome. But room itself is outdated. Wall sealing are starting to come off. Amenities are fully functional though. We asked for extra body lotion but took them more than 30minutes to respond. We ended up bumping into house keeping in the corridors and asked for them there.

Very average hotel. It was once one of the most luxurious hotels in Pittsburgh, but it's been in serious decline. There was almost no service, the phone in the room didn't work (you had to go downstairs to get room service), and the cleanliness was average (there were even stains on the sheets).
The shops and restaurants inside the hotel are almost closed. It snowed heavily when we checked in, and we couldn't go out during the day. As a result, there was no food in such a big hotel (only one bar was still open)!
Finally, due to the overall design of this hotel, almost all the windows in the basic room types are inward facing (the window is opposite a wall), which makes it a bit claustrophobic.

Pittsburgh's historic hotel was built in 1961. The room looks like an old star hotel. I like the lighting. It's very comfortable to lie down and rest at night. The location of the hotel is also good! The front desk service is a bit poor, but everything else is good! The people at the VALET parking service are very nice, but the hotel doesn’t have slippers or toothbrushes or toothpaste.

My husband and I have stayed at the Omni quite a few times when we come into Pittsburgh because we have always had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and the staff has always been friendly. However, this particular stay we had a horrible experience with the bartender named Marissa. She was horribly rude and even her bar manager could not control her attitude that evening. But the next morning we spoke with Joe, who is the day manager, and he was so polite and completely apologetic for her absurd behavior and ensured us that he would be speaking with her. Unfortunately this incident took place on Saturday evening, and Marissa was working Sunday evening, so after the Penguins game we opted not to have drinks at Palm Court because we did not want to deal with her again. But we did not let that one horrible experience affect the rest of our stay. To the other staff at Palm Court, Nick and Bob, you both are amazing. To Laurie who bartends The Tap Room, you are so fun to be around and you always provide such awesome service. Thank you, Joe, for your willingness to rectify our horrible experience we had with Marissa. Because of your attentiveness to this issue, we have given you 5 stars in all categories and will be willing to continue to stay at the Omni William Penn.

Super clean. The building is historic and beautiful. The mattress wasn't my favorite, but everything else was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have always used the Onmi when we visit Pittsburgh and was always pleased. This visit was not as expected. The room was not clean, stale odor, and thermostat broken causing a heat wave making me feel like I had menopause. I did let front desk know of issue with heat hoping it gets fixed for the next guest.

Excellent Hotel, very warming. Welcome with professional and friendly staff.. housekeeping was very good. Answered all my queries, and I was very pleased with the service. Hotel is in a good location to see the science.
