Not impressed. charged extra 20 to park. no breakfast included. rooms ok nothing special.

The window of the old hotel cannot be opened. It is already taking a shower. The shower gel and shampoo are actually locked? Then let the staff come to unlock and take a bath? Unimaginable hardship and stinginess. I didn't borrow an umbrella when it rained, and the attitude of the staff was average.

We really loved the location, but our room was really dirty. There was spatter of what looked like blood on the walls and the curtains and dirt on the carpet. The bathroom was very clean, but the room was a bit dated and worn.

Pros: Amazing proximity to PPG Paints arena and phenomenal game-day vibes! Staff is super sweet and prompt. Room setup is a lot of fun, the suite-style is really comfortable and keeps you able to sleep where you sleep and play/relax in a different area. MCM-vibe decor was super cute as well!! Room was a nice size as well- not humongous but good for our three person family and had a cool coffee bar thing. Parking was ample and easy and did not overcrowd on game day like we feared. Great proximity to tons of Pittsburgh sights!
Cons: Quite simply, the room was dirty. It was clear that things had not been deep cleaned in some time, and even things like the tissue holder were really dirty. My son and I both struggled with our allergies due to the dust (allergies are not the hotels fault, of course). The floor desperately needed to be vacuumed. I went out to get cleaning products and cleaned and dusted myself (again, my choice because I could have called staff, I did not make them aware during our stay). The furniture could use a glow-up as well- the desk chair was torn and the tables were pretty worn. It was also not well stocked - we had to call for toilet paper and towels and the coffee bar thing had no cups, just lids. This was really the only con, but a big one.

If it’s hockey you crave this hotel is extremely convenient; the best place to stay for a Penguins game. It is also close to Duquesne University and walking distance to many restaurants and if you really like to walk, the Pittsburgh Cultural District. You have to pay for parking but I like that it is “self” and not valet….there is no waiting. Many fun places like the National Aviary and The Carnegie Science Center are a short drive (10 minutes) away. Room was clean but possibly could use a good carpet scrubbing. Bathroom was clean and there were more than the two flimsy white towels found in other hotels where we have stayed. The shower was great!! My biggest complaint would be the comfort of the bed and the noise it made every time either my husband or I made a slight move. More coffee supplies would have been nice! Check in was easy and those people working at the front desk were courteous and friendly. My husband and I have stayed here before and will stay again.

Room was well appointed and clean. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Shower water pressure was great . Bed was a little hard but the pillows were nice.
All in all happy with our stay. Bonus is the proximity to PPG Arena for hockey games.

the Room was dirty.water on the restroom Floor,moistures on the wall and the carpet was dirty.use to be the best hotel in Pittsburgh...not anymore.remember...i gave a five stars in 2019...now it goes down to one.

Disgusting. Dirty glasses left on window and shelf. Clearly not cleaned very well. Pretty expensive room for this
