Casa Cook Samos - Adults Only

My stay at Casa Cook Samos was truly remarkable. I had the pleasure of staying in a beautifully designed and impeccably clean double room with a beach view that felt like a home away from home. The real highlight was waking up to the breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. It was a lovely hotel with very kind and friendly staff. The bay that the hotel is located was amazing. The sea was crystal clear and still warm enough to swim during October. One thing to keep in mind that if you take the bus to Pythagorio, you will have to walk for 5-10 mins to the facilities of the hotel. Great breakfast buffet in the mornings. Amazing trip all around. Definitely recommended.

We liked the hotel in many ways but for us it does not quite live up to 5 stars. We’re overall satisfied and would consider Casa Cook again but at another destination. The hotel is quite new, it’s minimalistic and well designed. There is a beach side and a poolside with a small road in between. Most rooms are swim up rooms. We stayed a week in a swim up room and I would really recommend that. The room is nicely decorated and feel modern. It’s not very spacious either inside or outside. The highlight of the room was the bathroom, we really liked the separate toilet. Large and comfy bed and pillows. The staff is very friendly, polite and service minded. Some staff were new (we were there in the beginning of the season) and inexperienced, especially for breakfast and lunch, and did not live up to 5-star service. One morning we ordered from three different staff and still didn’t get what we ordered. The breakfast is good, you order eggs/omelettes a la carte and the rest is a buffet. There is a large selection of sweet stuff, pastries, cookies etc in the buffet. Some mornings were busy and by 9.30-10.00 we sometimes had to wait a bit for a table. The restaurant is also good but you want to try and see something else too. Some days at lunch it took a long time to get the food even though the restaurant was only half full. One day the food came out cold. You can order drinks and food to your sunbed on the beach and that is a better choice. Also the chairs in the restaurant must be the most uncomfortable in Greece… We had the Samos dinner the hotel arrange on Saturday nights. It was nice, especially with long tables with other guests, but the food itself was not worth 60 euros per person. Good to know: The hotel is just by the airport, just a fence in between. We knew this when we booked and we were not bothered so much about it but some days it was quite busy and they start flying early in the morning. If you wish to minimize the noise request a room closer to the beach. There are no restaurants close by. If you wish to eat somewhere else than the hotel you need to go Pythagorion (a 30 min walk or a 8-10 euro taxi ride). We recommend to go to Pythagorion for dinner (try Knife&Fork and Pergamonto). Very easy to get a taxi by the hotel or use the hotels car service. There is a small supermarket with the essentials just by the hotel. A lot of biting insects, mosquitoes maybe. We didn’t see them but were bitten quite bad. I saw several people with bites, I had at least 30 bites all over the body that were itching for days and had to visit the pharmacy. Some improvement suggestions: There is very loud music by the beach almost every day, some days with a DJ and then you could not talk to each other. We got tired of it and went to the pool instead. Samos is a quiet island, the beach area felt like Ibiza-wannabe. They also light a barbecue at lunch every Saturday which makes half the beach useless unless you want to be in the smoke. The AC

Plus: Good location, very nice beach, spacious (and clean) rooms, nice architecture. Rich breakfast buffet. Nice spa area with friendly people. Minus: Poor service and customer relationship management. The majority of the people in service (breakfast, restaurant, beach bar) but also in the reception never smiled, seemed disengaged, in bad mood and their replies could easily be considered as rude.

You can sense the care and time that went into creating such a refined space. The staff were incredible throughout our stay. Warm, attentive, and always ready to help — they made sure every part of our holiday felt special. A special mention must go to the breakfast: absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. It was one of the highlights of our mornings. Without a doubt, I will return. Casa Cook Samos isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience.

The design of the hotel is modern, earthy, and absolutely stunning — a beautiful blend of Greek minimalism and comfort. We stayed in a swim-up suite, and waking up to our own private pool and ocean breeze was a dream. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and smelled fresh every day thanks to excellent housekeeping. The food at the Beach House restaurant was another highlight. Breakfast offered a wide range of fresh, local items, and the dinners were exceptional — don’t skip the kalamarata octopus! Service here was always prompt, professional, and genuinely warm. A few minor things (like the 3 PM check-in or a slightly busy breakfast hour) didn’t detract from the experience — they were handled with grace and efficiency. If you’re looking for peace, design, incredible food, and flawless service that makes you feel like a VIP, Casa Cook Samos is the place. We can’t wait to return.
