This is an honest review on the situation at these apartments as of 6/9/24 first off the staff are very friendly and welcoming , housekeeping are good bedding and towels changed every 2nd day and apt cleaned every day. Now the bad news , everything in the apartments isn’t just tired it needs taken out and replaced , furniture is old and rickety. TVs don’t work, neither did hair dryer but that was replaced. You can boil a kettle , absolutely no chance of even boiling an egg on the rusty 2 plate table top stove. The shower head was held in place with pen top . The fake grass needs taken up and thrown out , the smelly cats need to find somewhere else to live . The new owners have a lot of work to do. Ours was described as a premium apartment , would hate to see a standard one. New owners please take note ,would like to return but so many things need to be done before it even could be classed as 3 star , AC is free but totally ineffective .

Just back from 2 weeks in Piskopiano Village with my wife and three boys and had a fantastic holiday. We were worried about the negative reviews but our entire stay was hassle free and perfect. That’s not to say the apartments themselves are five star accommodation but they were perfectly fine for us. We knew the apartments had recently been sold and the new owners have done a decent job to get them up to standard for this summer before a major renovation in the winter. Everything worked fine and was spotlessly clean and the complex itself is in a great location set in lovely grounds with an amazing view down over Hersonissos. We originally had a two bedroom apartment at the back of the complex which we were happy with but we were offered a free upgrade to two superior rooms during our stay, presumably they needed our original room for someone else. The superior rooms were fantastic and had a great view from the balconies. All the rooms had free air con, a good size fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster and small ring for cooking. The cleaners seemed to come to change sheets and wash the floors every day, which was great but not necessary a lot of the time. There are a lot of steps as previous reviews have stated but this was our fifth time staying in the villages and all our previous accommodations were similar. As said in most other reviews, the pools are very deep but we didn’t find this a problem as long as we ensured our youngest children wore arm bands and didn’t go into the pool when we weren’t there. The pool bar severed limited food and drinks and closed at 6pm and the complex was very quiet in the evenings but this suited us fine. There was a nice atmosphere around the pool area during the day with different nationalities mixing together and children playing together around the pool and table tennis table etc. All staff were friendly and approachable and we encountered nothing negative in any way and look forward to returning once renovations have been completed next year.

Where to start?? The location is fantastic. Your slap bang in the middle of Piskopiano and Koutoulafari…2 beautiful villages. In the evening you really know you’re somewhere special. If you’re after authentic Greece then this is the place for you. Hersonissos is just down the hill (a 10/15 minute walk) It’s a lively town that to be honest we didn’t spend too much time in. The beach is lovely and there’s lots to do…But it’s young and lively which is fine if that’s what you’re after. It wasn’t what we were after. The Piskopiano villas are basic. It’s proper self catering. The air con was free (no surcharge) and the whole grounds are really lovely. Very well designed. The staff are fantastic and will help you with every chance they get. It has 2 pools, both very deep! I don’t know who that that was a good idea but it wasn’t 🤣 To be honest the whole place needs a few quid spending on it. However it is what it is and when your in such lovely surroundings you can suck it up. There were plenty of families still having lots of fun in the pool so don’t let it put you off too much. There’s a few Spar shops a few minutes walk from the villas will cater for all your lunch needs (the villas don’t do much in the way of food which is daft!). The villas have a pool bar with Ben (a great guy) serving drinks until 18.00 when his shift finishes. The beds are comfy and the cleaners come in everyday and give everything a spruce up. It just needs a few quid spending on it! One of the pools was a bit cloudy, the bar doesn’t really do lunch or breakfast, the air con is good but not great, the table tennis table is fun but withered. It’s madness really because this place has fantastic location and could be a self catering gold mine! Overall if you get it for the right price then do it!! As I’ve said the villages are beautiful and the staff are great. The local restaurants do some wonderful Greek food and there’s a local cafe ‘Socrates’ that does some yummy Greek fast food at a really good price. You can’t knock it unless it cost you a fortune! 4/5 but could so easily be a five with a bit of TLC!

Although a 3 star property we found the hotel to be very clean. The beds were very comfortable and pillows gave you a great nights sleep. The location of the hotel offers some amazing views. The hotel is very quiet in the evening which as good for us as a family as our son was well rested. We opted for self catering as this allowed us to explore the local area.

Location is fantastic. Housekeeping are excellent. Apartments are spacious & ours (35) had a stunning view from both balconies. Only negative for me was the ludicrously deep swimming pools, which have about 3 square metres you can stand in before plunging steeply to a depth of over 3m. Fine for strong swimmers but not for my special needs daughter who loves the water but required constant supervision. That was the only negative from me though, everything else was faultless Late checkout (6pm) available for 30 euros which made for a relaxing end to our holiday Lovely spot right in the centre of the village, would have been a 5* review if I'd been able to relax round the pool

What to write. The apartments were clean and specious. We were in No32 which is right next to the 2nd pool. Accessible via 3 flights of steps. We arrived around 0300hrs reception was manned and we were quickly told where our apartment was located. The equipment in the kitchen was minimal and nothing matched, the idea of cooking a meal with a cooking ring and just 1 socket to use for kettle, hob, coffee machine or toaster(which we had to ask for) was a feat in itself. So we ate out everyday, at the restaurants close to the apartment. The apartments have been taken over by new management who own another complex further down the road so hopefully they will bring piskopiano apts up to date. The pool bar was only open from 10am-6pm serving drinks, Ice cream, pizza and toasties. There was 2 other bars, 1 in reception and another next to the pool but it was not open at the time. There was no evening entertainment within the comp!ex. The staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Our bed linen and towels were changed daily and the apartment cleaned everyday. The play area looked tired and in need of some TLC. The beach is approximately 15minutes walk down the hill. However for all that I've said myself and my 2 teenager granddaughters had a nice holiday. 25/06/24 -02/07/24

The hotel has been bought by new owners so hopefully they are going to improve this property. The hotel is very run down and needs a lot of attention - It's very dated. It's classed as self catering but there is only one hob ring and minimum kitchen utensils. You're very lucky if you end up with a toaster in your room. There is no way that you could prepare any kind of warm meal in these apartments. The pool bar is very limited; only selling toasties and pizzas other than that you have to walk up several flights of stairs to get to the restaurants and shops. It's in a brilliant location but if you're not very mobile do not attempt this.

Location was very good. We ordered a 2 bed but on arrival was given a 1 bed with a sofa bed. The cooker was rusty, wardrobe couldn't open and the apt was very dark. The female receptionist was rude with zero customer service skills. We had not met a rude person in the villages until we arrived here. We was told there were no other rooms available not even a 1 bed for our third guest which did not sound correct. We called our holiday company who resolved the issue but this took 2 hours from arrival. Finally a male member of staff showed us several rooms (stained mattresses / broken curtain poles etc ) so there were actually quite a few rooms available. We chose the 2 bedroom with the bed canopy which was fine. Please do not come here if you are elderly or have any disabilities. The number of stairs we had to climb each day was exhausting. See photos. There is no concierge that assists with cases similar to other accomodation in the villages (with a lot less stairs). The stairs are not lit at night so we used phone torches. It's worn out and falling apart. We was located at the bottom of the complex near the playground and car park. Photos show route to our apt - down 4 flights of stairs then up one flight to our room.Dirty artificial grass around the bottom pool and not a great atmosphere. TV and hairdryer in room did not work and we had no WiFi in our apartment at all. The top pool was fine though and the reception area and reception toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. The maid service was good and the maids do their very best and were very polite.
