Hotel Terminus & Plaza

Pisa City Center
we stayed here for one night - it's an ok hotel, walking distance from the train station which was a priority for us. The rooms were clean and in reasonable order and the breakfast was good. The one issue for us was the noise of the elevator - we were in room 112 which is located next to the elevator shaft - it was noisy as the lift seemed to be operating throughout the night.
Hotel Francesco

The hotel is perfectly located literally 2 minutes from The Leaning Tower. The street outside has plenty restaurants, supermarkets and small shops. Our room was on the first floor. Basic, but very clean with a small fridge and ensuite facilities. Also on the first floor is a small roof terrace where you can have breakfast or drinks overlooking the Tower. You can buy chilled beer, wine and soft drinks from reception. The staff are a real credit to the hotel: very friendly, courteous and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Franceso.
Villa Tower Inn
4.2/5110 Reviews
Pisa City Center
This hotel, now called Hotel Villa Tower Inn , is definitely a 3-star hotel -- as indicated in the Trip Advisor description here and NOT 4-star as suggested by their logo and promotions. I suppose it may be a decent 3-star hotel: quaint, near the only real attractions that draw you to Pisa, easy-to-find, with 24-hour reception, a mini-bar fridge, LCD TV, etc. I understand from some reviews that there are renovated rooms. Not 207, although the bathroom sports updated amenities. The paint is aging and the decor is ”charming” where charm stand-ins for ”subpar” like ”antique” stands-in for ”old.” The headboard has probably seen better days and seen many things. I say that because this is the ”Romantic” room. It's romantic because with more than one person in the room there is going to be a lot of touching--intended or not. The ceiling is very high: eyeballing it, the height of the room is easily 20% more than either its length or width. Continuing on the theme of odd perspectives and charm, there is an armour in the room. It is perfectly serviceable, though only Michael Jordan could use the top of the two clothes rods. It is 3” short of the 8' height of a basketball rim. (I measured.) How such a guest would fit for sleep is a whole other question... The room has what seems to be an anemic little A/C that turns out to be surprisingly up to the job at least through the night. It was so hot out this week that we hardly bothered to open the shutters (inside or out), except to note that the view from this room is of a wall and hospital parking area/park. I'm trying not to be too *****y because the hotel can't possibly live up to my expectations of a 4-star hotel. It shouldn't have to... unless, of course, its logo suggests that it has 4-stars.
Hotel la Pace

Pisa City Center
We stayed for 4 nights in Pisa at the Hotel La Pace. Pisa is a very interesting city, clean with some great eating places. Also very good for anyone with a gluten intolerance. We stayed at the Hotel La Pace which deserves 5 stars. Clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. we did experience a couple of 'drop outs' with the Wifi but that is the only negative thing about this hotel.

Hotel Galilei

The hotel started to navigate a little bit twists and turns in the past. After moving in, I felt that the room was spacious and bright, the service was in place, and the food was good. I will stay here next time, like it!
