Great location downtown, 5 minute walk to pedestrian zone. Great breakfast buffet, coffee, tea, juices, cold cereals, eggs, sausage, bacon, lunch meats, cheeses, vegetables, yogurt, fresh breads and rolls - even a vegan section! We stayed in room 101. As you walk in, you are in a foyer. Directly opposite is the bathroom door, tub/shower with stuck on circles for traction and a hand bar for safety, toilet shelving and sink. To the right of the foyer was a room with a door which had a desk, TV, chair and sofa bed, full size, which was comfortable. To the left of the foyer was a bedroom with a full side bed and open closet and spots to sit with cushions. Both rooms had windows that opened for fresh air. Everywhere was clean. 4 euro per day to park, spots were a little tight. Top level, 3, had a walk out terrace with seating and nice views. Staff were friendly and helpful. What more could we want!

Emil’s hotel is een kleurrijk gestyled hotel in Pirmasens, tussen Kaiserslautern en Straatsburg. De hotelkamer was modern en schoon met een prima douche en toiletruimte. Ik heb er vijf dagen overnacht, en het was lekker rustig op de derde verdieping. Het bed lag goed, war ik ook zeer belangrijk vind. Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende en de koffie apparaat met cappuccino is een pluspunt. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Er zijn geen noemenswaardige minpunten. Je moet alleen uitvinden hoe je de airco moet uitzetten, maar dat is gelukt.

The room is small, but very clean, the hotel is in a very good location, in the city center, very close to the train station, breakfast is very rich, high quality, the two girls at the front desk are also very friendly, will come again, thank you!

This is my second stay at the Schloss Hotel in Landstuhl. I have also stay at another hotel on a previous business trip. I selected the Schloss over the other one for a variety of reasons, one of which is the location atop the mountain. As we were still facing COVID-19 restrictions, I did not know what to expect. Suffice it to say, while the bar was closed, it was still possible to buy beer and drink outside or in your room. The usual breakfast buffet turned in to something more simple; however, there was plenty of food, just not fresh eggs. What I did find surprising was that the spa/sauna was opened. I took complete advantage of this. All in all, a very nice stay as expected. I really find the employees to be friendly and helpful.
