This was our third time staying at this hotel though our last visit was 7 years ago and we found our 7 night stay (with 2 grown up children) to be a bit disappointing. The hotel is very well located in terms of its access to the ski slopes which are easily accessible only 30 meters in front of the entrance. We were on a HB package. Dinner was very good and they have an impressive selection of buffet items which we enjoyed. Service during dinner can be improved. The waiters serving us were serving too many tables and we often felt that it was difficult getting their attention. We did not like the fact that water was not included and we had to pay extra for it. Breakfast was disappointing. Quite a limited offering for a 4 star superior hotel. Breakfast seams more like what you would expect from a 2-3 star hotel. We like to eat fruit for breakfast and there was no cut fruit at all only whole fruits like clementines apples, bananas that you need to park for yourself. On most of the morning some of the fruit would run out quite quickly. The staff would say that there is no more clementines (or bananas) and then when you were about to leave suddenly more came. They charge €3 extra for a tiny glass of freshly squeezed orange juice which is unacceptably small (less than 100cc). There are only hard boiled pre-made (cold) eggs and scrambled eggs (buffet style) and hard boiled eggs. No effort to make any fresh breakfast items. No omelets or other egg offering. The have pancakes but they are always made in huge batches and brought in cold from the kitchen. Nothing made on the spot. They have a strange toaster that works very bad. Service in breakfast is terrible. The coffee they serve takes forever to come. Lots of waiters around but service is very disorganized and inefficient. On 1/2 of the mornings the coffee we ordered never arrived and we had to order it 2 times from 2 different waiters. Waiters are not assigned a particular table so you always try to look for someone to notice you to order coffee and the feeling we had was that they would avoid eye contact and not notice you unless you aggressively called them. Coffee was made in low quality cafeteria style coffee machines not a proper espresso machine you would expect to have in Italy and so the coffee was quite bad. They hotel should invest in a couple of good quality large espresso machines which is a real basic in Italy. They have a machine like that in the bar but they don’t use it for breakfast customers. The selection the breakfast buffet was quite limited. The overall feeling we had was that the hotel management is a bit cheep and does not want to spend money on providing a decent breakfast experience. Same experience we had in regards to the room amenities and to the fact that the hotel does not provide any bottled water to the guests. Since there is also no store nearby you end up paying extra for bottled water both in the room and during dinner. The internet service throughout the hotel w

As always, a great time was had by all in our mixed group of adults and children on our annual ski trip. The location is perfect. Wonderful spa. The food is possibly the best thing. We looked forward to dinner in particular. The staff is one of the reasons we keep returning to this hotel, and a special mention goes to maitre d' Paolo, who runs the dining operation so well, yet makes time to make the guests feel special. Huge thanks go to Roberta and Martina, who looked after us so well each dinner time. I'm always amazed by their energy!

I was with a group of around 100 skiers last week, 15.-18.1.2023 in Magno Carlo. The elevation of the hotel is around 1600m, so snow was no problem. The whole staff I met was very friendly. Our room was very large and clean. Food was excellent, price for bottled wine customer friendly. Absolut ski in, Ski out Hotel. The pistes of Madonna with the adjacent villages are excellent. At noon we at at the skirestaurant Malga Vigo which was also superb. Only disadvantage is, that it is quite far from Austria.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 children 3 and 9 years old. Friendly personal staff, especially at the restaurant. Foods are fresh and delicious. Reception are likely to speak English better. Rules for the spa are not appropriate for the families with kids, because they are not allowed to come in till 7 p.m. Who is taking children to spa after 7?! Near the pool for babies there are not enough chairs to sit. You have just to stand and watch your child. For the shuttle bus you have to make reservation but nobody inform about it before. There is a lack of information from the reception. For many things you have to guess yourself. There is no water to drink in the room and no kettle to make tea. Room was quite cold to stay. Just to make a conclusion it wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my friends.

Was an excellent choice for a family break in the Dolomites. First of all reaching the slopes has never been so easy: you sky out and back to your room from the very main door of the hotel. This is a huge advantage. The indoor parking is available and included. More importantly: the service is excellent on all fronts: The maitre Paolo keeps every meal to the highest standard: from breakfast to dinner. The whole staff at the restaurant is extremely pleasant to deal with. I shall thank very much Roberto from the kids club who took care of my daughter every day: hugely grateful for this service where kids have plenty of fun and yet very well educated and controlled. Overall a very positive experience. Highly recommended for family break in the snow.

Good position for walks although you have to walk 2k to town (not easy with young kids) along a main road and the shuttle bus is only available once every hour and you need to let them know in advance if you need it and at what time. Food was average and with limited choice. Options for vegan/intolerances very few and not always available. Also, when we were there they looked under staffed so service was slow. Room was big but a bit noisy as on the street side. Bed not very comfortable and no sockets for phone near the beds. Mini club was good and the entertainers really nice young people, however the mini club is not included in the room price and you need to pay extra. We were a family of 4 with 3 and 5 year old girls; we stayed for a week and spent 4000 euros for half board - TOO EXPENSIVE for the quality and level of service we received, plus, absolutely shocking they asked us (with the lady at the reception - Silvia- laughingly demanding to us) to pay 130 euros for a plastic lamp my daughters had cracked in the bar area, we were honest to tell and clearly they took advantage of it. Next time you know what to do, put it back on the table and walk away! However, there will be no next time here for us, we left with a bitter sweet taste in our mouth after this experience. Probably worth a 3 STARS but not at the prices they ask. There are definitely better choices in the area.

We go to the Campiglio ski resort each year and this is the second time we have stayed here, because we love the and the flexibility offered by ski-in / ski-out as it means more time on the slopes, no fighting to get parked and no long trudges up the mountain each day. They also have a ski shop in the basement which means you can get any rentals you might need without leaving the hotel. The quality of accommodation and friendliness of staff remained very high, just as we remembered, but one thing that has improved head and shoulders beyond the last time is the quality of the food. I’ve stayed in several hotels in the area and the food is typically OK. That’s all. It usually doesn’t matter because you’re active all day and just want to eat. But not here – we found ourselves getting really excited about the menu for that day. The selection was amazing, really high quality and absolutely delicious, and the staff loved helping us to understand what was on the menu, even when struggling with the language barrier. There is no doubt that this is an extremely challenging time for hotels, but that never came across and all staff were brilliant. In particular I would like to call out Andrea on the front desk who very patiently helped us arrange return Covid tests and several other issues that were well beyond his remit, and Giovanni in the bar who took the time to prepare several wonderful masterpiece cocktails and present them to us each time like a formal unveiling! We’ll definitely be back next year!

Amazing experience. The Hotel is beautifully located with direct access to the slopes. Staff is super friendly and did their best to accommodate all our requests. Food is delicious, from breakfast to dinner. The facilities are great, the spa and wellness area are very clean and very well equipped. I strongly recommend it to enjoy the slopes of Madonna di Campiglio
