Savoia Palace Hotel

Absolutely Excellent. Really nice double room, firm bed and a good sized en-suite. Brilliant location right in the centre of town, very short walk (60m?) to ski lift. Breakfasts were great, nice views, great food and as much as you could eat. Toast, eggs, chees, cake, pancakes .. whatever you wanted. Evening meals were the traditional Italian "2 main courses" with a salad buffet and amazing sweets. Wine was well priced and good quality. Nice spa with jacuzzi and steam room etc, Nice cosy hotel bar too, really a pleasant place to spend an evening. Best of all was the staff! They tidied the rooms while you were at bakfast, nipped in and tuned the bed down while you had your evening meal, brought fresh towels if you used the spa, and the service at supper was perfect, smiling and polite, wine served as it should be etc. Top marks all round! Would happily visit again!

A traditional Italian charm Hotel. We stayed a week with a group of 30. The location of the hotel if just around the corner from the Cinque Laghi Gondola lift which is very convenient. As long as you know that you can ski to the Pradalago or Cinque Laghi ski lifts down run 85, the ski world is your oyster! Hotel has a great location, in the center of the village The spa area was nice and had a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Food - Breakfast & Dinner included in our stay. All agreed food was superb. Breakfast has a cook station with fresh omelets, and pancakes and all you could want in a continental buffet. Dinners were spectacular! A different 4 course meal with 4 options for 1st course and 4 options for 2nd course, and all items were great. Desert table was very good and hard to pass on even though we felt stuffed! All the staff was super friendly; our waiter Vito was great. Street facing rooms have great views, but have to deal with 5am snow plows (if it snows) and 2am Dance music on some nights. spacious ski/boot storage room with boot dryers to hang your boots on. Dolomites mountains are beautiful, would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from a girls ski trip to Madonna and stayed here. This is a lovely traditional hotel with amazing staff that go above and beyond to make you welcome. The main points hotel - it is traditional so if you are into modern decor it’s probably not for you . The rooms are very spacious , we had 2 double beds and cleaned 2x a day we stayed 321 which was on the back of the hotel and was quiet. There’s loads of wardrobe space for ski gear. Theres a bath and a shower..There’s a lift and a lovely spa with hot tub and sauna. The steam room wasn’t working. Staff - the staff are all so welcoming and if you try with your Italian they appreciate it and will help you learn . Tino and Vito were excellent and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. All the staff were helpful and made you feel special saying good morning and asking if you needed anything this would make me return to this hotel . Food - the food is such a high quality. We had the nicest duck I’ve ever tasted and the attention to detail at dinner and breakfast was lovely . Breakfast has a cook station with fresh omelettes , bacon and pancakes and all you could want in a continental buffet . They even made us a boxed breakfast as we had an early transfer. They also had a special Valentines dinner which was lovely Skiing The boot room is brilliant and the hotel is literally 2 doors away (3 min walk) from the Laghi ski lift and the centre of town or a 5 minute walk from Spinali ski lift across the park. It is placed in an ideal location for everything . Madonna is great as you can ski easily to 3 other resorts and Madonna itself has a large ski area We loved it because the staff were great , the location is great and quality of food is fantastic .

BEWARE & TAKE CARE : FEBRUARY 2024 1) They lost (yes LOST!) my passport, despite taking secure posession of it when checking in and then confirming they did not have it, in front of witnesses. 2) Staff are selling their own private goods to guests - again witnessed by myself and other guests. 3) They had not bothered to ensure the night porter was aware of how to find keys to the secure and locked storage room, so he was unable to retrieve property for some condiderable time. 4) A fellow traveller found her ski helmet missing and had to push the management to show her CCTV to identify the culprit. So either at best a Hotel that is badly managed and has poor communication and security and at worst potential petty crimilality ? I and others are seperately writing to Ski Crystal management to highlight these matters. Appalling.

We stayed for 6 nights for skiing, nice location close to the skilift Cinque Laghi, 5 minutes to walk. The room was spacious and designed in traditional Dolomiti style. During day amazing view of the opposite slopes, but in the night quite noisy outside, especially if you want to sleep with the open window. We liked the food, both breakfast and dinner, plentiful choice of apetizers. In general I can recommend this hotel.

Everithing is good. we had a Halfboard and the quality of dinnres was execelent. Just some points - Windows are must to be a more soundproof and may be a little bit improce the ski room. thank you for accomandation. i am sure to come back in next season.
