Very nice Hotel in the middle of the Acient city.  Very good service they provide not only a breakfast but also the transfer to the train station.  Good value for money.

the staff was friendly and the inn is very cute. the toilet was a bit dirty but nothing a good disposable toilet seat cover couldn't solve. wifi and AC heating are great. breakfast was amazing. the only complaint is that check out took longer than usual (staff wasn't present) and we weren't given any bottle of typical vinegar :/

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very helpful and we appreciated the transfer from the train station to the hotel. Very good value.

The stay was amazing!! The service impecable, location superb and lovely room!
The Inn is located on a very central road close to the gate to the ancient city. Even though its very central, the rooms are in a back garden so its very peacefull and quiet.
The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable! They even have a small terrace with view of the skyline!
But the best part was the service! The person working at the teception supported us with anything we asked, it felt like a piece of authentic chinese hospitality!
I can only recommend this beautiful Inn to anyone visiting Pingyao!

Great location. Very central. The hotel picked me up for free from the train station and helped with the luggage.
What I didn’t like: Rather cold, as heating is only switched on in November. The staff barely spoke English. And I asked for laundry service but they didn’t have it and also didn’t offer to help with it.
Overall, solid guesthouse but with some downsides.

The hotel is housed in a beautifully preserved historic building. The room I stayed in was comfortable, clean, and pleasant. The inner courtyard, with seating areas and where breakfast is served, is charming and gives the impression of stepping back in time. The location is excellent as well, just a 5-minute walk from the most touristic part of the old town. Breakfast is Chinese style and, personally, I found it a bit weak, but that doesn’t take away from the charm of the hotel.

The host was wonderful, helping us get around and explore the city.
The room is clean and located near the north entrance which is very convenient. Recommend!
