Such a lovely, most lovely place. While much of Pingyao has turned into a theme park of excessive tourism (it is a well preserved “ancient” city, but turned commercialized and going to become even more as massive renovations continue across Pingyao), this sweet Guangxianyuan Inn is an oasis from the tourist madness. So well restored, beautifully renovated, kind staff, and the best part…only the sounds of birds can be heard in the courtyard. The price for rooms is also wonderful. I would stay here again, even longer…✨

The hotel is located inside Pingyao Ancient Town, close to North gate entrance and city wall, walking distance from pingyao railway station. From the entrance to their yard, the hotel designed traditionally beautiful. The room is good, with amenities and wi fi.
The owner are nice and friendly, they will ready to assist you at any time.
The breakfast is simple and good, the auntie there is nice and friendly.
Overall, i recommend this hotel, cleanliness, budget wise, great service, and good location.

An ancient courtyard in the style of Ming and Qing Dynasties, very close to the North Gate. You can park your car in the North Gate parking lot and walk to the North Gate in 5 minutes. For new energy vehicles, the nearest charging station is about 1 km away.
You can ask the owner for the restaurant's exclusive discount card when eating in the ancient city.
There is floor heating in the room. After turning it on, even slippers will burn your feet.
If you want to do makeup and take photos, you can also contact the owner.
