Pingyao Ancient City is amazing, and this home stay is in the middle of all the best parts. It's the only place I've stayed in China where I couldn't hear my neighbors through the walls! The courtyard was excellent for relaxing, especially in the swing chair. The room was large, and the comforters on the kang bed were thick and comfortable. There was an air conditioner, but I did not need it. Plenty of hot water, and good internet speed.
The hosts are exceptional! Extremely friendly and helpful, giving me great information about the sites to see, including the light show at 9pm, that I had no idea about beforehand. They really made sure every need I had was met.
There are restaurants within a 5-minute walk, where you could have a simple chicken sandwich for 10 RMB, or a nice plate of meat and potatoes for 58 RMB. An ice cream cone for 3 RMB.

The landlady was very kind. Before we went there, she added me on WeChat to tell me how to get there. She was always concerned about us. When we arrived at the store, the room was not ready yet, but she upgraded us to a bigger house for free. She was really nice. The environment and sanitation were also very good. The small courtyard was very beautiful and had a swing. I liked it very much. When I left, the landlady also gave me a bottle of specialty vinegar. It was a pity that I forgot to take a picture of the courtyard. The location is also very good.

I went to Xinzhou Ancient City with my boyfriend and chose this B&B. The overall experience was great.
1. When we were approaching the ancient city from Taiyuan, my elder brother came to pick us up at the station to help us pick up things.
2. We wanted to shoot period costumes, and the eldest sister and her lovely children accompanied us from choosing clothes to putting on makeup, and also helped with bargaining. I felt like she was a very nice person.
3. The courtyard is super clean and beautiful, giving people a very comfortable feeling, and it is also great for taking photos. The sanitary environment at home is very good, and we experienced the feeling of living on a kang, which is very comfortable! ! !
I really recommend this B&B to everyone. It allowed us to experience the happiness of being warmly entertained when we go out. I hope that the warm brother and beautiful sister will have a successful business and a happy family!
