A very nice hotel with very friendly staff and nice rooms. We recommend the VIP building. The breakfast was chinese and western. The hotel is placed outside the city wall and can be reached easily with taxi or DiDi, but only a few steps to enter the ancient city area. The only field to improve is some basic English for foreign guests, but at the end we managed to communicate :-). See you again!

The hotel is in the style of the Republic of China. It is a very good experience. All the staff are very friendly, from the front desk (a man and a woman on duty around 1.25 noon) to the catering (all the sisters). It is very close to the west gate of the ancient city. Although Encore Pingyao is closed, it is very close to Encore Pingyao Theater. It is highly recommended

First time in Pingyao, I stayed at Pingyao Hotel. The hotel is decorated in the style of the Republic of China. The staff is also very friendly. The room is clean and hygienic. It is worth mentioning that the double-layer windows facing the street are well soundproofed. The snacks provided are delicious, and I bought a lot more online. It is not far from the ancient city, about ten minutes' walk.
