Omg I can't tell you how sweet the host lady was! I arrived in Pingyao at 6am in the morning and she gave me the room right away! She was so sweet and kind to let me use the laundry machine for free and was always helping me with everything.
The place is inside the ancient city and it's quite pretty and got the historic vibes! Really love the place, it's very clean!
Recommended for everyone stopping by!

Super location: just inside the ancient city, so it’s only a very short walk from where the taxis drop you off (they can’t enter the old city). Very charming and comfortable hotel and lovely owners!

Owners were really friendly even though language barrier. First day the gentleman took me to a restaurant and second one offered me food with his family. Only cons would say the bed, which isn’t a proper bed but not complains. Good value for money

This place has very high value for money. The owners are sweet and caring, and the rooms are basic but have everything you need. There's a little quiet courtyard to hang out in. While it's in the outskirts of the ancient city, it's still within the walls. This part of the ancient city is much quieter than the center, which has its benefits, and it's still a short walk to the attractions. Furthermore it's very easy to get to and from other locations with bus/taxi as it's very close to the roads just outside the wall.

The boss is so nice, he even drove an electric car for us. It is also very close to the South Gate and very convenient for travel!

It is not far from the entrance of the ancient city. You can park your car by the ancient city and walk a few hundred meters to the place. The price is cheap and breakfast is provided. The environment is good.

There were no toiletries. I offered to provide them later. Then I looked and there was no hair dryer. The space was so small that I couldn't move around. We booked 2 nights together. The room was not cleaned after the first night. There was garbage all over the floor. I couldn't help but throw the garbage. The bed faced the toilet. The toilet smelled bad. The kang was cold. The experience was very bad.
