It's perfect! Super clean, all the necessary amenities, the boss took me back to the train station as a courtesy. They will give you a map with all the explanation. It's really worth it. Also you can use the washing machine and there are loads of vinegar and wine to try.

非常好的酒店！谢谢你们 Fantastic experience at the hotel. Classic and beautiful old Chinese style with a breathtaking courtyard. Best service and super friendly front desk. We were picked up at the north gate of the town and the hotel guys shared with us the best loop on a map highlighting the best places in town. They also recommended us places to eat and helped out to buy the 3 days ticket. His wife speaks enough English to help you out if you don't speak Chinese. 100% recommended. If you are coming to Pingyao this is one of your best options.

Incredibly helpful people and a beautiful hotel. The owners were such lovely people who were extremely kind and helped us any chance we got with regards to activities to do and where to eat etc. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Pingyao, the couple running it picked us up at the north gate and gave us a map of all the attractions to see. Room was nice but could do with a light curtain on window as not much privacy in the day aside from the full curtain for night time. Location is good but a bit of a walk from the Main Street but would still stay again! Thanks

Fantastic value for money. I really liked the room. Shower and bathroom were great. Bed was comfy. The hotel is in a quiet street a little bit outside of the main streets which for me was a big plus. It's not too far away and way quieter. The owner/husband picked me up and dropped me off at the north gate. They have a fridge where you can pay for drinks per qr code. 2 water bottles a day for free in the room. The wife gave me a map with explanations and an itinerary idea. Super nice! Improvement ideas: - Water refill from a big jug to safe on plastic - English explanation on how to book the Pingyao 3 day ticket on WeChat (I figured it out myself but a small guide would be cool) - some way to close blinds so people can't look in without having to shut off all daylight. Would recommend the place and would book again without looking for anything else.

From start to finish everything was perfect! The communication was easy and friendly, and they came to pick us up when we arrived at the north gate of the town. So nice! The owner speaks English which was helpful. The hotel is in a quiet sidestreet and is very cute. Good looking courtyard inside and spacious rooms. Clean and comfortable. The owners helped a lot with planning our stay and we would stay again if we ever come back!
