Overall our stay was great! This was our first time in Taiwan Kenting, we were looking for somewhere easy to go from Macau with nice holiday beach feel.  We used to go to Thailand but we wanted a change this time. Location wise it’s very convenient 2 mins walk to the night market where you have tons of food options, street stalls or restaurants wise. You have couples of 7 elevens, family mart, watsons all you need in case you forget to pack something.  There’s bus station “xiaowan” very convenient for sightseeing if you don’t rent a car. Pretty on time and big coaches very comfortable with AC. In terms of amenities, we thought the hotel could have more beach amenities, beach bar or restaurants would add a huge value for the hotel. Many families would stay all day by the beach if they have bar/restaurant. It was a shame its was closed… Also the sun lounges could be a bit more comfortable simply just add a thin cushions on top. And again would be great to have a bar for quick bite by the pool. Our room was the ground floor ones with Jacuzzi, it was a lovely touch since they don’t have bathtub in the bathroom. The little garden is a great touch for morning meditation. :) We also did a nighttime activity with the hotel by the beach to hunt crabs. It was a great activity and the staff did a great job explaining and helping out. Food wise, we had breakfast buffet in all 5 days, it was a big selection of food but not much variety. We had a lunch by lobby bar… but was not up to our taste unfortunately. There is much better options outside or hotel. Oh and they did a little decoration since it was my bday and offered a cheesecake to the room by a robot :). All in all it was a great experience hopefully they will step up the pool and beach area.

No bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha.

Amazing stay! The whole Family owning the hotel is verz fruendlz and helpful! Every morning, breakfast was delivered to my door, so that I could enjoy it on the balcony with a great mountain view. I also rented a motorcycle directly the hotel, so that getting anywhere in the Kenting area was a breeze. Great experience, and I hope I'll have a chance to come back.

When I checked in, I found that the air conditioner was not too cold. Please ask the boss to see it and give an electric fan to accelerate the cold room effect; the overall feeling is good and the price is cheap! There is a breakfast shop next door, which is very convenient, and the room has a small balcony to see the sea.

I stayed at the Fairy Tale B&B for the second time. It is quiet in the alleys beside Kenting Street. There is a parking space. This time, I stayed in a balcony room like last time. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was also very polite and enthusiastic. It is the first choice B&B in Kenting.

A new attitude in Kenting, unfolded at Hotel da The sea in Kenting is fascinating. When Hotel da moved this blue into the room and brought it to the sky, the journey was upgraded. In 2025, the only 360° sky pool in the whole of Taiwan was officially born here. Standing on the edge of the pool, blue in all directions, the sky and the sea seamlessly connect here. Whether the early morning light, or the evening glow, people forget time. For travelers, Hotel da offers not just a leisure but a ”life imagination between the sea and the sky”.

The location is on Kenting Street, near the entrance gate of the Forest Recreation Area. The parking lot is located at B1 and B2. There is an elevator to go upstairs, but the B1 elevator entrance is on the other side and is easily overlooked. The table in the room is large enough, with three chairs available, and videos are provided for watching. Breakfast is rice balls, served with lettuce salad, miso soup, stir-fried vegetables, teriyaki chicken, tea eggs, bread and yogurt. The overall feeling is small but beautiful.

Very good hotel. My room was spacious with bow window, well furnished: coffee table, two armchairs, cupboard, refrigerator. Large modern shower. The hotel is very close to the main shopping street where the night market is held, but does not have the noise pollution. The various bus stops are nearby, as is the beach. The hotelier is a caring and very available person, always ready to be of service and help you. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located on Kenting Street, facing the sea on one side and the food street on the other! If you take the Kenting Express from Kaohsiung, just get off at Kenting Police Station Station, which is very convenient! I like the decoration style of the hotel, it is simple and more comfortable than the Instagram style! The sea view from the balcony is particularly beautiful! The price is well worth it! Although the hotel's breakfast is simple, just sandwiches and milk tea, it is delicious. If we want to talk about the shortcomings, it is that there are no hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom, the wash basin is too shallow and water splashes out easily, the light in the mirror is not enough, and the hair dryer is too weak. If I come to Kenting again, I will definitely come back to this hotel!
