The hotel is located in Cowies Hill, a relatively safe area in Durban. It has a beautiful and quiet environment and the night sky is full of stars at night. There is also a delicious restaurant in the hotel, and the price is not expensive. Every staff was very welcoming and provided excellent service, even including free laundry service. Disadvantages:
The hotel is currently adding new rooms, and the construction noise is disturbing, but this cannot be avoided.
The hotel is close to nature, so there are inevitably some small animals. For example, every time you return to the room, you will find 2-3 geckos. If you don’t mind, you can just ignore them.

Best tasting menu in Durban. Outstanding fine dining in a non-pretentious atmosphere. Loved your evening there and can highly recommend the wine pairing! We mixed the 8 and 6-course menu and both were equally amazing. Great service and hospitality.

Exceptional dining experience at The Living Room Restaurant at Summerhill. Eight courses, each paired with wine. The wines are carefully sourced, not the usual wines you would find at local restaurants. Each course and wine is explained by the staff. Locally sourced fresh produce. Lovely tranquil atmosphere.

Home away from home. The place is amazing. From the owners to the staff make you feel like part of the family with their friendly and helpful attitude. The rooms are fantastic so spacious clean and comfortable. It is so tranquil you would never say that you are actually in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Our company often uses the venue for conferences, and we book all out overseas guests here and they all love it. Definitely a place to visit.
