This bed and breakfast is a working horse farm. It is nice and out of the way but easy to get to from the highway. We stayed in the Coyote Room which is finished in the southwest adobe fashion. Adobe walls and fire place, authentic hand woven rugs. there is a large window for a great view of the surroundings. Jim and Chris brought many of the rooms decorations from New Mexico artisans, including hand made tiles. It is quiet and relaxing, and they serve a great breakfast. I even got a tour of the stables with the horses.

Whether you’re a horse person or not, this is a wonderful place to relax and watch a working horse farm in action. Kris and Jim are very welcoming and friendly. Their ranch house is cozy and authentic. Breakfast was delicious. Right outside are the horse stables, paddocks and riding ring. You can view the horses in their stalls or outside during the day. There’s a lot of acreage to explore. For the horse person they give dressage lessons on their various warmbloods as well as the rest of their herd. I would love to stay there again.

This was a unique & positive experience. The hosts/owners are the epitome of a MOM and POP business. We saw first hand ( Jim and Kris) followed their passions and have worked and continue to work very hard in ownership of a horse ranch/providing riding lessons. They are incredible inspiration of what keeps us going in life. Jim and Kris in their golden years continue to work hard. Jim was fixing the tractor and Kris (recovering from a recent horse injury) was making us breakfast in the morning ! It is one of the few horse ranches in Pine still surviving. My money was well spent support this wonderful business. - Marion and Paul

This is a very relaxing setting in the Denver area. It’s a working horse farm with an authentic ranch house and a couple who love their horses and meeting new people. Kris and Jim are very welcoming and friendly. They have a variety of horses including warmbloods. You can view the horses in their stalls or outside in paddocks during the day. After a delicious breakfast you can watch a dressage lesson or take a walk or just relax on the porch. I would love to stay there again
