I had stayed with my family at the Morickap Resort in early May'25 and I must state that this is presently among the better places to stay in the region. Set near the Banasura Dam, this is undoubtedly a great option for all kinds of travelers excepting the ones looking for ‘value’. As far as the location of the resort is concerned, it’s close to the Banasura Dam and nearby attractions but relatively far from places like Kalpetta or Sulthan Bathery. The resort offers enchanting villas and rooms to suit all kinds of travelers and the relatively expensive villas have breathtaking views of the surroundings. The property is extremely well-maintained and you won't find a speck of dust in the entire property, whether you are in the rooms or anywhere else. The buffets here are pretty great and the multicuisine experience they offer can hardly be matched. The people here are always eager to help you out and you can’t hope for better hosts in a place like this. To sum things up, I would rate this among the best options to stay in Wayanad. The only downside is probably the fact that the pricing is a little too high and the management would do well to be more competitive in this regard.

We stayed at Morickap Resort, Wayanad, on 15/03/2025 and had booked two studio rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the zipline and skywalk activities, while I had a great time playing football with them on the turf. We also had a refreshing swim in the pool. In the evening, we enjoyed a wonderful live music performance, which added to the delightful ambiance of the resort. The next morning, we took a serene, misty walk around the property, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Afterward, we had a fairly good breakfast buffet before checking out. The stay was a truly enjoyable experience for my family. A special mention goes to the thoughtful hospitality extended to my mother, who has difficulty walking. She was provided with a wheelchair, allowing her to explore the entire property comfortably. I also appreciate that most of the main areas are wheelchair accessible. However, I would like to suggest an improvement: installing sturdy grab bars near the toilet to make it more elderly-friendly. My mother faced some difficulty standing up after using the toilet due to the lack of a grab bar. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I sincerely thank you for the wonderful hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again!

Amazing staff, good food, shef Praveen brijwal prepared uttarakhandi cuisine for us and we are thankful to him all the staff is highly appreciated and really polite all the time with guests. Good walk experience with Satish. Well maintained swimming pool. Absolutely designed rooms with all the necessary amenities. Superbly neat and Clean bathrooms. Thanks to Morickap for this well spent staycation in the weekend.

We stayed at Morickap on the 15th of August. Initially, we felt the price was on the higher side and were a little worried about the service and rooms. But from the very moment we arrived, the warm welcome reassured us that we had chosen the perfect place for our vacation. The staff were exceptional — always greeting us with smiling faces and offering top-notch service throughout our stay. The rooms were beautifully designed and immaculately maintained; my husband, who is usually very particular, couldn’t find a single flaw. Dining was another highlight. Both dinner and breakfast spreads were delicious, with a wide variety of dishes, including five non-vegetarian options that were simply outstanding. A special shout-out to the Reception team, the Restaurant staff, and indeed every member of the Morickap family who made our stay so memorable. You all truly made us feel at home. We will surely be back to see you again!

Very good property. Highly recommend. Excellent service, food and activities. Both adults and children can enjoy. Had a fantastic stay at Morickap Resort! The location is serene with stunning views, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the food—especially the buffet. Great place to unwind with plenty of activities for both kids and adults. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway in Wayanad! Great Value for Money resort. We loved and will come back again to feel the hospitality.

I stayed with my family at Wayanad morickap Resort we all really liked the stay. The staff is very friendly, polite and goes out of the way to serve hot and fresh food. Great experie Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Excellent stay, one of the best pools and superb staff especially Mr Amal, Mr Rishad, Mr Sarath from restaurant and Mr Ashwin from the Spa. Great front desk team too. A great experience!
