Comfort Inn & Suites Cincinnati Eastgate

Dirty, poor housekeeping, terrible breakfast, rude staff who do not have any interest in actually helping, toilets had to be flushed lifting the back of the bowl, hair in tub, nail clippings behind furniture, cobwebs in corner and nasty. There was what appeared to be white vomit on the bed skirt. Torn curtains in windows. Pool not working. Stains all over. Room key deactivated during stay. Never saw a housekeeping cart entire weekend stay. Stay far away from this run down sorry excuse of a hotel. It was so bad our entire group who had reservations in a few weeks are cancelling and finding another place to stay instead.

It was worn down, super hot through the lobby and hallways on both floors, dirty, and they didn't have an ice bucket so the front desk lady gave us a laundry bag for ice, or refrigerator didn't work, there was greasy handprints in the head board like they rented by the hour. Food wrapper by the air conditioner floss and qtips under the bathroom sink they had left used shampoo bottle in there and opened there was hair in the drain it was gross. I told the front desk and they just said thanks and sorry. After all that we didn't even try and attempt the breakfast.

Absolutely terrible. Never would imagine a name like Comfort Inn would allow there hotel to look like this. My husband and I booked this for a weekend couples getaway. It was supposed to be nice, quiet, with a riverfront view. Instead we gota room facing the busy highway, and the hotel had major construction going on while trying to stay open. In our room, the bathroom had visible mold, the tub was unusable as the finish was coming off the porcelain, the towel rack was coming off the wall, there was a hole in the ceiling, no sheer for the curtains so we had to pin the drapes closed to stop light from coming in.... just terrible. Avoid at all costs!!!

I stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites on W. Mitchell in Cincinnati, OH 7/27/23 and 7/28/23. I called ahead of making the reservation and talked to the manager regarding my specific needs for a wheelchair accessible riom. The manager was great at providing me the measurements requested. However, the reservation was unblocked by another senior management person who failed to read the notes of his manager and reserved the room for another patron. The owner and manager both said if I could forego a shower for a day, they would move me to the roll in shower room the next day. All parties agreed. They moved me the next day. The roll in shower, wheelchair accessible room had so much furniture in it that a wheelchair could only be used on a portion of one side of the bed, the grab bar in the bathroom doesn't allow for someone to hold onto the bar and sit on the toilet at the same time. The shower chair provided was missing one of the rubber tips and its legs spawled outward from the chair if any weight was placed on the seat of the shower chair. The owner was told that this was a potential liability for the hotel. I recommended that the shower chair be discarded and the hotel should buy a new shower chair.

This hotel is (Non-smoking) yet my entire room reeked of it. Brought this issue to the front desk. They just looked at me like I was crazy and did nothing to fix the issue. Air conditioning filters were completely clogged.

First assigned room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Switched to a second room with a jacuzzi; however, there was no hot water in the room (or the entire hotel, as we later learned). Awakened about 2:30 AM by extremely loud car stereo music from the parking lot, plus loud voices and lots of commotion in the stairwell next to our room. There was still no hot water, and the hallway outside our room smelled of ********* smoke. The clerks at the front desk were not friendly and did not apologize for the noise, for the smoke, or for checking us in without informing us that there was no hot water. We left the hotel at about 3:45 AM and checked into a different hotel nearby. We called the hotel manager later; he insisted that we would still be charged for a one-night stay.
