Don't miss out on this charming hotel! Unlike so many 21st C. posh places ( and their corresponding high rates), this romantic guesthouse - the former palace of the local marques- is authentic in atmosphere, style and service with incredibly reasonable prices for their beautiful rooms.
You won't find many foreigners in Piegaro, which means that you'll become part of the local scene in no time. It is close enough to Tuscany to visit Sienna for instance, but also Perugia or Assisi and Spello.
Piegaro was a delightful surprise for us and we can't wait to go back.
I can't comment on the pool (it was October) or the breakfast (we had an apartment), but the staff was so wonderful and kind that we felt like family coming home.
Piegaro is famous for its glas production (only surpassed by Venice)and you'll see it's art everywhere.

The hotel was charming, and the staff really nice. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was large and beautiful view of the hills. The bed was comfortable.

Residenza d'epoca tenuta in modo spettacolare, tutto bello,pulito,mantenuto in modo perfetto,camere stupende( addirittura la proprietaria ci ha fatto scegliere tra 2 tipologie)..siamo stati trattati con i guanti bianchi, rispetto,educazione, insomma,se volete provare,tornando indietro nel tempo,a essere trattati da principi, il posto è quello giusto!!!colazione top!!!

All'inizio di settembre 2022, abbiamo passato 4 notti di assoluta tranquillità in questo splendido antico palazzo finemente restaurato. Le camere sono tutte una diversa all'altra, alcune affrescate altre con vista sulle colline, abbiamo potuto scegliere quella che preferivamo grazie al periodo di non altissima stagione. La sig,ra Rosy ed il suo staff si sono distinti (tutti) per la gentilezza e la cura riservata agli ospiti. E' stato un vero piacere soggiornare in questo eccellente hotel. La colazione è stata ottima e molto varia, con possibilità dolci e salate, in grado di soddisfare qualunque palato, un sentito ringraziamento per la cura e l'attenzione della signora che seguiva le colazioni, sempre gentilissima e disponibile. La signora Rosy, la sua famiglia & lo staff tutto hanno fatto la differenza Grazie

Zeer gastvrije en hartelijke onvangst: het voelde alsof we bekenden waren. De geweldige kamer die ons werd toegewezen had een fresco aan het plafond, het onbijt was in de 7e eeuwse kelder, de entree was geweldig en er was ook nog een zwembad bij het hotel. Terug in de tijd, maar met de luxe van nu. Alles was geweldig, maar voor ons maakten de gastvrouw en de vrouw die kookte het verblijf onvergetelijk. Wij komen hier heel graag terug. Dopo circa un anno sono ritornato con mia moglie per riposarci con tranquillità lontani dallo stress di Roma. Non posso aggiungere altro a quello già espresso in precedenza. Preferisco soggiornare nella dependance della struttura che è più tranquilla ma con gli stessi comfort della struttura principale. La piscina rende il soggiorno più piacevole. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Piegaro poi, è in una posizione strategica per visitare l'Umbria.

In ordine Location ottima all interno del paese Piegaro Struttura d’epoca molto curata nei minimi particolari Camere tutte diverse e molto grandi Bagno d’epoca con finiture che non si trovano facilmente Spazi tutti molto puliti Gestione famigliare tutti molto cordiali e disponibili Eravamo con il nostro cane a cui è stata data particolare attenzione offrendo anche uno coperta per dormire Ci hanno consigliato un ristorante dove andare a mangiare che è risultato ottimo e con ambiente molto piacevole
