Popular Picton 4-star Hotels

We stayed at the Broadway motel overnight prior to catching the ferry to Wellington. It is located close to all of Picton Main Street shops, restraints, petrol station and fast food outlets. It is also close to the Ferry terminal and Waterfront harbour, The executive studio it’s king bed room was large with abutting seating area and small kitchen. Our host David was very helpful and welcoming. I highly would recommend this motel.

Really friendly greeting at office, took me up see our room. Handy location in the city opposite a big supermarket. Full kitchen Not, fridge a bit too enthusiastic froze our milk. Not noisy, great beds and pillows.only down side was tiny shower head and not great water pressure.

The location of the motel is terrific. It’s on a tiny hill overlooking the harbour. If you are lucky and get the rooms upstairs, you really have a fantastic view day and night. The room itself is rather simple, but it does have a balcony with chairs and a table. Great for enjoying the view. But be prepared if you are driving there. The slope to the reception is steep and parking is very squeezy. Smaller cars would see an obvious advantage there.

Excellent location, walking distance to the Ferry Terminal, the Boats to Weelington, restaurants, bars, attractions and shops. The room is spacious, with a super comfortable bed, air conditioning, room heater, cable tv, fast wi-fi, bathroom with strong shower and amenities. The continental breakfast, is well served with good options, an a la carte menu with spectacular options. I chose the salmon with poached eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and toast. The coffee is freshly prepared of excellent quality. There is a swimming pool. In front of the marina. The team are very friendly, attentive, kind and helpful of my needs in Picton. The manager Mr. Vivek Vaderelu welcomed me and was extremely friendly. Excellent cost x benefit. I recommend.

The location is good, the room is spacious enough, and the sea view on the balcony is really good. There is a splash in the swimming pool downstairs, which is the first choice for vacation and leisure. It will be recommended to everyone.

We had a Studio apartment with ensuite and own cooking facilities. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was no microwave in the room which was very small with a table and 2 chairs outside on the balcony. We were close to the office and disturbed by guests arriving past 10pm and talking loudly. I was able to use the microwave in the shared kitchen. We did not think it was good value for the money when compared to other places we stayed at. However we were well located to catch the early morning ferry across to Wellington which was a priority. Next time I wd stay a little further out and catch a later ferry. We got much better value accommodation in Wellington.

This motel is near to the ferry terminal,very convenient.the room is big and clean,face to the Main Street-High Way.There are two supermarkets near to the motel,it is easy to buy fruits,vegetables and drinks.I will choose it again.by the way,Picton is very small,but it is so beautiful and quiet.

Great place to stay - very clean and well presented, with very friendly staff. Walking distance to London Quay, the main street, supermarket and the RSA is right next door- great evening meal. Our room was a good size with a separate bedroom and small kitchen. The bathroom has a spa bath with shower over it. A rubber mat is provided for safety which was most appreciated. The heated towel rail held 2 towels easily. Bed and linen all very good We could look out over the harbour and into Queen Charlotte Sound. Off street parking,free wifi.

What can we say about Top of The Town without sounding like Tracee paid us to say it?! (We promise.. she didn’t) We first stayed back in June. We’re only from Nelson and we just wanted to get away for a weekend break with our gorgeous wee dog. Top of The Town popped up as accepting pets so we immediately made a booking.. We will never bother to venture anywhere else accomodation wise when coming over to Picton - we’re both so chuffed with this place. We just stayed again in October. We hadn’t made any plans for the long weekend - we’d saved Tracee’s number in our phone from our last trip, called her up and she remembered us immediately - “I’ve got room, get yourselves over! Lovely to hear from you both, come over anytime just flick me a text when you’re near! See you soon!” - it’s like popping over to your Aunty’s house to hang out for the weekend. The best sleep we’ve had in months - 10/10 for the bed comfort and linen to die for Amazing shower pressure Real good quality towels Cleanliness unfaultable (is that a word? basically the room looks like it’s been cleaned inch by inch by ‘Our Trace’ with a toothbrush) Long story short - whether you have a pooch or not, this place is a great safe choice for quality accommodation at an extremely affordable price. I promise you, you will not find anything wrong with Top of The Town and they are a gorgeous couple that really make you feel welcome. We love having Tracee’s number saved in our phone - now whenever we have a free weekend with no plans, we know we can just give her a ring and pop over for a couple of nights - knowing our dog is 1000% welcome and knowing how lovely their place is, it’s just so convenient.
